The EVO-1212F is exactly what it says it is.I purchased this inverter with a very specific purpose in mind. It will be used as a “ups” for a 3/4 HP sump pump, which is in a pit too small for the conventional 2 pump backup systems. It is a pain in the butt to wire. As I have about 2kWh of storage, this isn’t too significant. While inverting, the no load power consumption is more like 25 watts.Power save mode pulses the output to about 50Vrms every half second, looking to see if a load is present. This could be problematic if electronic equipment is attached, but perfect to detect a sump pump. See attachedThe output stays solid at 120V with a 1500W space heater and fairly sinusoidal driving a 100W light bulb.So far, my only other negative comment is that the fans are a bit noisy, while not seeming to provide a lot of airflow.
