Garmin 010-11430-00 Bike Mount, Quick Release, Quarter Turn

Way more expensive than it needs to be but that’s Garmin for you. Satisfied with ease of installation and how it keeps my Garmin securely in place. I use this when I rent a bike when traveling. Regret that I keep forgetting to remove it when I return the bike and need to buy it for next trip. But that’s my issue.

Works well for lights and small cyclocomputers that need the Garmin interface. O-rings are stronger than expected. Used on my stem to mount my 1040 until the aero one (backordered) could ship.Also have one on my seatpost for my Garmin Varia light/radar.

Works good, great value. Comes with two mount units, one for the road bike, one for the mountain bike, one for the hybrid commuter, one for the rain bike. So I bought two sets of these. On the one hand, a sturdier mounting system would be nice. On the other hand, the "rubber band" mounts hold snugly and allow a good variety of mounting positions, and the bands will probably last 2+ years, and with any luck, only one would break at a time, avoiding the problem of GPS dumped out on the street while riding.

Some reviewers worry the o-rings will fail and their costly Edge or Varia radar / taillight will end up in the road. Garmin stuff is generally well built and I have some confidence they've designed this right. I've not had enough experience to tell but replacement o-rings are inexpensive.And the attachment is pretty easy to use in a variety of locations (bars, rear bags). Cheaper than many alternatives and good if you have multiple bikes. Still, for my Garmin Edge I like the out front bar attachment that comes with it.

I used this to mount my Garmin Varia RTL515 to my saddle bag's light loop. My bag's loop is a little narrower and tighter than most, but it managed to install just fine! It keeps it nice and tight to the bag, but I do also use a case for my RTL515 that has a retaining strap for peace of mind.

I have many bicycles and love to use my Garmin Edge 200 GPS as a small bike computer to share amongst them.This package comes with two plastic GPS mounts and several O-Ring bands to secure the mount to any sized handlebar.My Garmin Edge came with two mounts and I purchased this to have two additional mounts to use on other bicycles.I have not had any problem so far but I am sure that in-time the O-Rings may dry out and break. For that reason I am happy that there are twice as many O-Rings included in the kit so I have some spares for the future.

Don't waste your money on one of the other many options to mount the Varia to your bike. You likely have a saddle bag (a small one cuz you ride a road bike and having the bag at all is already a risk of jabs from your friends) and that was causing some issues with the Varia being able to "see" cars correctly.Attach this to the loop that is likely on the nice flat back of your bag and BANG - Bob's your uncle!

I believe the product was either defective or fake. Rubber bands all broke after a few days of use. I checked with some original bands and rubber spacer and they feel like completely different materials.
