STIR, Don't Shake!
I use this to make miniature Ouija boards to sell on ebay. I used to use the spray can version but my local Home Depot doesn't sell it anymore (and the spray can version was a lot of work)Knowing that the spray can version worked well (after several coats) I opted for the paint brush on version. I got out my sheet of paper, taped it down, and started painting. I test the glow function after every coat, but after SIX coats this stuff still wasn't glowing, AT ALL. However I did notice two TINY sand sized specs of bright glow on my paper, so I was very confused. I hopped onto the reviews to see what others were saying (I didn't read them before purchasing like I usually do...) Anyway, SO MANY bad reviews. After reading through them I figured out my problem... STIR, DON'T SHAKE!I had been shaking the can like I would do with regular paint, if it looked good and mixed I thought it was good. I ended up using half a can before I figured out I should try stirring it... I got out a set of Panda Express chop sticks from my drawer and started to stir, immediately I felt the resistance at the bottom of the can, a hard clump of substance (the stuff that makes this glow). I stirred and stirred til it was smooth, THEN I put the lid on and shook the can for good measure... VOILA! It works now! (you still need a few coats tho, I will try using Rustoleum primer on my next batch like the can recommends to see if that helps)So STIR, DON'T SHAKE! (Well, shaking after you stir is obviously fine...)

Stir it a lot
Product glowed fine once I figured out that all the glow in the dark was stuck to the inside of the can. And I mean stuck. It took a lot of force with a stir stick to get all of it unstuck from the entire inside of the can. Stir very thoroughly. Once you get it unstuck from the can, stir a lot to homogonize it. Then put the cap back on and shake it a bunch. It might work to throw some half inch or so steel spheres (ball bearings?) into the can to help break up the glow clumps but not until one has unstuck the glow from the inside of the can. I did multiple coats and used more than half the can to coat about three square feet (.25 square meters) Had I known about the stuck glow part, i probably could have coated more area. Like the song says, I'm stuck like glow... The manufacturer should probably use a non-stick coated can for this product.Once I had a finished product, I found the product was nicely activated by ultraviolet - either a 'blue' laser cat toy from amazon or a 'black' light. once activated, shining a red laser at it will make it temporarily blow more brightly then darken. Works best if the laser is powerful or the red laser cat toy is moved slowly. One can either write on it with the blue laser or activate the whole surface and write on it with a red laser... A room full of college students each with a red, green or blue cat toy were entertained for a few minutes... Brightness of its glow drops off pretty quickly but possibly still visibly glowing hours later? Didn't watch it that long.

It really glows
Oh this was so cool it looks a little creepy but it’s serving its purpose. To glow at night and prevent the mail box from getting run over.

Glow Paint
I used this paint to make some nerf darts glow in the dark. My verdict: this paint works. It is not incredible, but for the price I could not pass it up. It does give off a decent glow that lasts quite a while, I have never timed it but it seems to last for around an hour at least. Before I play nerf, I just charge these up outside for a few hours and then as soon as it gets dark the battle begins! Cheaper than buying those glo darts that nerf makes and a lot better because it is actually paint and not stickers. I cant think of any practical application for this paint but it sure is good for random projects.

Didn't glow
Very disappointed. 1st can ordered just stopped spraying after 3 seconds. No explanation, damage, not empty; nothing. Just quite; gave up. Figured it was just a bad can. Ordered 2 more b/c I thought of more ideas. 3 coats on a pair of skeleton hands - about 6" long, and no glow. Not even a hint of glow. Sprayed inside a few clear ball ornaments, coated the inside well 3x & again, no glow. Not worth the purchase. All items are outside and in a fair amount of sun to "activate" it. Each coat was allowed to dry thoroughly.
