They are rated to IP65 and will withstand a good soaking. They use the same body and sealing as our bike lights which are used in all seasons. We tested one again earlier this year and it lasted 4 hours short of a full week in a bowl of water while turned on to the flash mode. They have a year's warranty and if they go wrong we have a no quibbles return and replacement policy. They are great lights and are used in all sorts of applications. Hope that helps.
