Good spring lure
These imitate small shad, bait fish, or even baby stripers. The willow blades cause a deeper dive. I like to pair this with a smelly trailer with a grizzled pattern and/or color. This can be very effective in the right conditions. I like to fish this one in spring.

If you fish for bass, you need Spinner Baits.
Maybe Spinnerbaits are, too, but they also catch BASS. There's something about the way a bass hits a SB - like it owes him money. Great for post spawn and fall. I like Booyah's stuff. Not crazy expensive and it works well. I have the most luck with white and white/chartreuse.Basically weedless, catches fish, easy to fish (my 5yo daughter uses a spinnerbait sometimes), pretty cheap considering the same one has been on my rod for months and I LIKE to fish=no brainer. Tip: buy a pack of trailer hooks or learn to pause a beat before hookset. Or both. Yeah, both.

I just tried spinnerbait for the first time, and it was alot of work, i thought the movement was really smooth and looked great beneath the water. I didn't get any hits, it could have been a soso day or i didnt twitch it correctly, but i found an excellent use for the spinner, cut off hook and make an awesome rearview mirror ornament. Although I wont be using it for its intended purpose, its really well made and im glad i tried it. Btw, it glided over reeds very well.
