Perfect for a sound system!!
The media could not be loaded. This subwoofer is a perfect addition to any sound system. It throws out the bass nice. I have my system running from my little sunbuck amp (that I use as a preamp) to the subwoofer, then to the Harman Kardon receiver.I use the Sunbuck amp for my Bluetooth receiver and also use the equalizer on it. Also I use the Sunbuck amp to plug in my bass guitar to practice. The subwoofer I have crossed over at 100hz. Alot might crossover at 80hz. I just think it sounds a lot better at 100hz due to the high pass crossover starts at 100hz that goes to my Harman Kardon to push my loudspeakers. In my loudspeakers I changed out the woofers for a pair of Blast King 12".Overall I am very pleased with this subwoofer. It does not get hot on the back plate even after playing for a couple hours straight. There is no rattle in my backplate like others have said they had in there's. Mine came in as a 3000 watt P.M.P.O. not the 2000, so that was a plus. I would say this amp is perfect for whole house filling sound.Only cons about this is the constant smell of fish from amp. Not sure if that is going to go away. Also how others have complained, the power switch feels light. So fix was hooking up to a surge protector and just use that for the power.UPDATE: I changed out the subwoofer with a Skar 18" EVL dual 2 ohm. Then I changed out the power supply on this to a 600 watt rms one. This really pounds now. For those who just wish to change out the subwoofer, it is 4ohms.

Sounded GREAT til it stopped at 4 months. They sent a replacement amp - It's DEAD after 6 months.
The media could not be loaded. From May 26, 2022: Well, the replacement plate amp they sent just went bad. It's defective, exactly as the first one was. Worked for awhile, then suddenly, Not Working. I am very upset and almost out of their 1 year warranty. With 2 going bad within 9 months, I would like my money back...From Jan 2022: My initial experience with Proreck was positive, when back in August, they honored a special deal that I had discovered, (by now expired) and so, after reading the reviews and looking high and low for another Pro-Audio (Active, Class-D, xlr inputs/outputs, Low pass filter for PA uppers) I ordered the sub for my home stereo system. I had a little noise and hum initially, but I already had a ground loop isolator (passive) and that took care of that. I have never pushed this thing hard, its in my family room, and there's no need. This Sub worked awesome, delivering a tight, crisp DEEP low end punch, and nicely controlled by the output level and adjustable cut-off.... until yesterday. I turned it on, as usual, and was shocked to get a pulsing noise. A very awful and annoying noise. Strangely, according to a local speaker tech I spoke with, the amp still powers on, and will allow signal to pass thru to the uppers, which doesn't happen if the amp is dead or powered off. But THAT was a nightmare. It's definitely got a major issue, because I couldn't stand to hear the Low-End Rattling "Bass" along with my uppers. So, I'm hoping and praying that Proreck takes care of me and honors the warranty. I contacted Amazon who informed me to contact the Manufacturer. I tried and tried to located a phone number, between their Amazon Store, website and Facebook, but no luck. So I'm waiting for an email. If they can make this right, I will be 100% satisfied, as long as they can also maybe give some idea as to why this happened... Either the internal power supply (most likely) or the amp itself has failed. The Speaker tech said that these "Switching" type of power supplies and Class-D amp circuitry is so complex, that to try and diagnose, troubleshoot and repair, would be double what it costs, quite possibly, and so that is not an option.
