Update 7/3/2021:So we've had this almost a year now, and if I could give it a million stars, I would! This case has been through almost everything at this point besides driven over, screen directly stepped on, thrown out of a plane or dropped in a lake/bath tub/ocean and our iPad out of the case looks brand new still. My son has bitten the case for fun, it's been dropped all over the place, thrown a couple times, laid on, and the iPad is somehow, magically still intact. I used to be a loyal OtterBox customer - but this case has them beat by a mile. Like, a really really long one. I'm so thankful this company made this product and have recommended it to everyone I know with a tablet. Honestly, if I had my own personal tablet just for my use? I'd be buying this case for it. It's just that amazing.What a HEADACHE looking for tablet cases! I seriously must have looked through like a thousand reviews on other cases before settling on this one. I am serious about protecting my other tech, and this iPad was no different. Nice case for a new iPad owner hell bent on the iPad surviving traveling and in the hands of a five YO boy and his super clumsy mother (me). I wanted something that -1) Covered the tablet AND the screen2) Would prop up the tablet without the legs falling off (read a lot of reviews from other brands that had this issue)3) Came with a strap so it would hang in front of the kid on the car (why would I want to have to buy this separate, seriously?)4) Had a pencil holder on the back in case we end up with a stylus down the road.And most importantly of course, would withstand drops and dirt and the like. I, not my son, have dropped the tablet on tile from a height of about 5ft twice and have had no issues. We recently traveled with it and it did wonderfully. The children who used it to watch movies said it was comfortable in their hands and laps for long periods of time, and we get a lot of use out of the ergonomic handle at the top, another feature in the style I doubted whether we needed or not, but one which I've grown fond of having.The only con besides how hard the screen protector was to snap onto the tablet, is how the strap isn't really adjustable to shorter lengths. I thought I'd be able to use it to sling over the headrest in front of my son's seat for watching movies during the trip, but even at its shortest it was still way too long. I was grateful they made an easy release clip in the strap, which I used so I could just tie it around the headrest instead.Seriously buy this case!

We liked the first one and bought another for the second tablet. I tested 4 different cases before sticking with this one. This is a two-piece design with a front frame that fits inside the back foam. You cannot use the back foam without the front frame. My one complaint is the screen protector that is glued inside the front frame piece. Unfortunately, it impedes the smooth feel of the screen - so I recommend removing it if this is a concern for you like it was for us. We had a "tempered glass" screen protector on our device already, so this was a flimsy and unnecessary piece for us. The screen part is glued inside the front frame that goes on the iPad. For our blue case, we removed the screen film from inside the front frame and removed all the extra adhesive we could. We then put the iPad back in the case and it works perfectly. We all prefer it to the one that still has the plastic screen protector in place. The bonus pencil holder in the back is very secure, but accessible. We haven't installed the shoulder strap yet, but is a nice option that drew us to this model.

It provides sufficient protection, yet it’s pretty light so doesn’t feel bulky. It also protects the screen so I don’t need to get extra screen protector. Added bonus for having a storage for Apple pen.

I know I'm not supposed to let my baby play with my iPad, but it's kind of inevitable and I don't want him chomping down on glass or hard plastic so, I got this case and feel so much better when he grabs my iPad while I'm trying to use it. He has already knocked himself in the face with it once and it didn't hurt him. I also know that if (when) he tries to put the case in his mouth, he won't break his little teeth because this is a somewhat squishy material (not silicone, not hard plastic). My screen is also protected from his drooly little hands and I know this case will be great to have as he grows, because this iPad will eventually become his. Ha!

We purchased this for our Little Darling, and it is perfect! Not too bulky, but provides plenty of protection. Easy to insert iPad. Great value. The handle is sized just right for little hands. Highly recommend!

After a year of use, the case is still 100% in tact.No color fading, no rubber falling apart anywhere.There is not a screen over the original screen. Nothing wrong with that. Just be sure you're aware if that's something you're looking for

This case is amazing! My 3 year old son uses his iPad as his acc talker. This has taken a lot of abuse and falls. My son steps on it on occasion and throws it too. iPad is just a nice as brand new. The feet on it are the right height and size. The spot for the pencil is great with all the falls and throwing pencil stays in place.Update review!!We have had this case for 2 years now and it is AMAZING!!!!! Our son has thrown it, stops, chews, taken it the tube twice (not waterproof) but the case was the saving factor for this the iPad. Had to do the rice trick and saved his iPad. My son is nonverbal autistic so he has his IPad from the second he wakes up to the moment he goes to bed. This iPad case is worth every cent!! We are ordering another case as part of little plastic broke. For all the abuse this case takes we will always rebuy it. Definitely buy this case!!

Pencil gen one falls out.Wrapped some tape around pencil to make it thicker.Helps a little.
