Most magnesium supplements out there are cheap and use a form of magnesium that's useless (and causes diarrhea). This brand is the only one I found (and I've researched a LOT, including professional brands) that had a combo of different types of magnesium. It is something most people are deficient in and I take it daily. So grateful for the 270-pack. One negative side is that the pills are enormous. I have to be very mindful when I take them and not be careless, or one can get stuck. However, I love the formulation and its effects on me, so I'll deal with the giant pills.

Why do we need to take Magnesium?It's taken to support muscle and nerve function and energy production.If you feel you are loosing muscle strength you may want to take this product.(with a meal). You will feel the difference immediately. I take 1 a day fo now and, working up to 2 a day as written on bottle.Highly recommended

Good, quality magnesium. Helped me improve my levels. Great support for muscle & nerve function. My only complaint is the size of the pills. I was able to take but struggled a bit and switched to a different brand.

I think anyone reading this review probably has already decided that they need more magnesium - maybe you are fighting leg cramps, fatigue, migraines, stubborn digestive track - all signs of magnesium deficiency. I have seen so much conflicting information about which magnesium to use, citrate, oxide etc...I had just run out of the mag citrate I had been taking for about 30 days, someone in a fitness/diet facebook group I follow suggested Ultra-Mag as being more effective due to the blend of various types of magnesium. So after reading reviews I decided to order some, even though many people cited the size of the pills made it impossible to swallow...well let me say they are the exact same size as the citrate I was taking - yes they are kinda big, but not out of the ordinary for a supplement. I don't particularly like taking any pills or meds - I have no trouble swallowing these. I take 2 every night before bed. I am actually starting to sleep better and finally am regular, sorry if it's TMI but that is one of the leading reasons to take magnesium. I also haven't had a migraine since I started taking these. So If you need magnesium this blend might be perfet for you. I plan on making on taking these on a an ongoing basis.

Also, my healer had recommended certain types as well. This supplement contains magnesium citrate, glycinate, and malate. It also contains taurine, which is an amino acid of magnesium taurate. Another bonus is Vitamin B-6, which I also need in extra quantities. Ultra-Mag checks all the boxes for me.For me, the large tablets are difficult to swallow — but most pills are for me anyway. I can easily break these in half, making it easier to seallow.
