Vanity Fair Women's Anti-Static Nylon Half Slip for Under Dresses, Available up to size 3XL

This is a very nice kind of comfortable slip. I needed a shorter slip and this was perfect. I would recommend it.

I love this short slip. I used to wear a Vanity Fair of my Mom's from the 60's until the lace fell off and the elastic gave out! lol I already owned this in black in Med and now this in Large in beige. I'm 5'8 and around 170lbs and both fit but I prefer the large. Not sure if you wear slips often but I find if a slip fits snug it works best under a dress or skirt. I was so happy to find this 16" VF slip. Also, having the lace at the waist looks best if you have any love handles like I do! lol A skinny elastic waistband will create rolls you didn't even realize you have versus the smoothness of the lace band. Try it, I bet you will love as much as I do!

I purchased the 24" length version to wear with skirts that hit just below the knee to a few inches longer (approx. 28-30" skirts). I'm 5'9" with a 28" waist and 36" hips, and size small fit the bill for me. When pulled up to my natural waist it hits about a third of the way down my kneecap, though I'll probably use it more often with lower-rise skirts. This is a very comfortable slip, I forget I'm wearing it. As others have noted the waistband is very nice - wish there were more like it, it doesn't pouch out like slips with thinner elastic sometimes do. This is not a stricty fitted slip, it's very slightly flowy made of very soft fabric(check out the youtube video of the shorter version), but could probably work under a pencil skirt made of somewhat structured fabric.It might not work for a super-clingy dress or skirt. I have not tried it with pantyhose yet, so can't report on the static cling factor. If it helps, I generally wear a size 4 skirt at Banana or J Crew, and vacillated between getting the medium or small, due to reviewers who felt that it ran small. As it turns out, the small is plenty roomy for me - the medium would have been too large. I will probably order another one in black and also check out the shorter length to replace another with an annoying waistband. I definitely recommend giving this one a try, especially given the no-hassle return policy. 5/4/15 Addendum: I did order the black, and have been pleased with both. I hand-wash and air dry my undergarments, and these are holding up well. HOWEVER, when I ordered them they were offered in different lengths, and it was very clear in the selection process whether you were ordering the shorter or longer version. This no longer seems to be the case, and may explain why other reviewers had problems with the length. So be careful, because it's not clear now which length you will get, but if you have Prime, it's a free return if it's not right.

I initially ordered the 14 inch slip in white in Medium. It fit fine around the waist and hips (138lbs, 5'7"). It was not a true 14 in length. In the pictures you can see the difference in length from the center bottom to top and from the side that has the slit. Also, the white is see through. For the white dress I am wearing it with, it did not help. I returned it and ordered a natural color in a size Large with the lace top and bottom. The fit is a little looser, but not so much that it would bunch up or wrinkle under a dress or skirt. It is very comfortable and the material feels better. I would definitely consider purchasing again.

Good material and sized right

This slip does the trick. It has a slit that can be lined up with a back, side, or front slit of the garment you’re wearing. It’s lightweight and comfortable.

I was looking for a slip to wear under my long lace skirt. This would be perfect if the waist band wasn't so tight! Usually im betseen size S or M. I ordered size M and the hips still have room but the waist feels uncomfortable. Im afraid that size L would be too baggy with too much fabric

This is a nice half slip. It comes in a variety of lengths which is really nice. It is also made of stretchy material so it is comfortable to wear.

This slip was exactly what I was looking for. The length is perfect for midi length dresses and skirts. The fabric is light and doesn't stick to your dress.

It is antistatic and I went a size up for s more comfy feeling and it is perfect. The best brand for this kind of thing.
