This is basically a pour over but for adding ice water to absinthe, rather than hot water to coffee grounds. It works well in terms of having a place for the sugar cube to rest under the flow of water. It looks really stunning too. I used ice cubes in the top though, which allowed the water to drain through too quickly. I’m going to try breaking the cubes down next time and/or using my cocktail shaker to pour ice water over the ice so that the absinthe is nice & chilled.

The problem with this is the hole drip diameters are wrong and the dipper doesn't really drip... it waterfalls.The size of the cup's hole should be the size of the sugar cube platten and the size of the holes on the platten should be the size of the holes in the cup. It's as if it's been machined with the bits switched.A waste of money. Very, very, very, very disappointed at the design and machining.

The dripper arrived with what appeared to be either dirt or black mold on it. I tried cleaning it but kept finding more dirt.There are also three badly constructed elevated points inside the cup that appear to connect the legs to the dripping cup. These three points have small holes and inside of them that have a pink metallic glow making it appear as though the entire dripper is just silver painted copper. The quality of the product as a whole is low.Save your money and buy a better dripper.
