I might be the lone dissenter here.When I bought this book (based off the four 5 star reviews), I thought that I'd get some insightful ideas about storage solutions.I'm a HUGE fan of organization and storage.However, this fell flat.It has pretty storage solutions that aren't practical:Anyone with kids will know that open shelving will attract broken dishes.Having a library catalog to store nails, screws, remote control and keys in the living room? Really?Sacrificing a book to store a remote control?Have a crystal chandelier and roll away clothes racks for a fabulous walk in closet in your guest room?Using blueberry bins to store a single row of preserves?This book is good for looking at beautifully printed, stylized pictures of "storage" themed staged environments.It's not bad as mental floss, for when you want to relax after a stressful day.However, it's neither smart...nor are the storage ideas all that great (use your fireplace as a bookcase)If you're interested in smart storage, I'd recommend The Family Handyman Best Organizing Solutions.If you want stylish smart storage, I'd recommend looking at the Japanese approach to storage, looking at Apartment Therapy, or seeing some of the European interior design books.At the $5 I spent, I wasn't super miffed. The production values were worth that alone. Beautiful, glossy photos with nicely staged, almost whimsical pictures....but impractical, unlivable, not really usable solutions.A better deal would be an ikea catalogue...free, well shot, well thought out designs and solutions.

Perfect delivery, on time. No damage or marks!Great ideas with lots of easy to find things, or simple things to put together or even make from stuff from odds and ends you can steal from husband's garage, but I did not say to do that, lol. Again I love this book!
