The magnetic charging system is GREAT! and makes life more easy. Especially useful for items like portable head phones which are hold to hold when inserting the micro USB cable into the port while holding back the rubber port protector. (Of coarse might just be me with a little age and shaking crooked fingers). Charges FAST!But ... 1 of three has failed in the line of duty in less than a month. When removing the cable from the device the magnet for the port incert came off along with it. This left the stem to be fished out of the port on the device. (pictured: broken magnetic tip ... magnet and insert broke apart when removing cable.I had ordered another cable set (and would have gotten more of these micro usb tips if they were "not currently available").So leaves me in the middle of the road with a 3 rating. Ease and usefulness 100%, durability leaves me skeptic. Hopefully this was a fluke and not the norm. Time will tell ...UPDATE:Raised my review to a 5. One day after reporting the problem the price for the entire purchase was refunded to my gift card balance. Great Service!! Still love these magnetic charge cables!

After trying 6 or 7 (I lost count and almost hope), I found this type of magnetic tips and cables. They all have advantages, good connection, strong hold, precision made, and their disadvantages, works one to maybe fifteen weeks and fails, or cables that knot up or break.This system lasts the longest by far. I have some that are over a year old and work like new. Occasionally I lose a tip due to weathering or dirt.I bought these three tips to use for Easy charging on a portable keyboard and Bluetooth speakers.Highly recommend these round tips with four concentric rings.

I have purchased this product on 3 separate occasions and they work very well for all electronic equipment that I have been using. They are a consumable item and do wear out.

Magnetic cables are amazing. No more broken charger pins on devices from accidental high-tension cable removal, like when you forget it's connected, or your dog runs by it and tears it out.These are stable; the magnetic connection is strong, but will pop off if pulled on. I have had broken charger ports on every smartphone I have owned. A persistent Samsung Galaxy issue. My next phone will NOT be a Galaxy. I'm sick of this problem.All in all, I love them! Used with TopK cables, which I highly recommend. I ordered extra tips because one included with cables broke and they can be easy to lose.

These are sturdy and perfect fit for Kindle Fire. As a Kindle owner knows the connection from the tablet to the cord is horrible and breaks easily and then the Kindle must be replaced.I typically bought a new Kindle at least once a year but these have saved my Kindle! I will say I do replace these every couple of months because of the angle of the connection when tablet is in the case. The magnetic piece doesn't break off in the Kindle but the piece does bend so I know to pull it out and replace. Confident these only bend because used with the Kindle in my case. Really no other way it would bend.

We really like these for ease of use, but this is the second time I am having to buy these, as they keep breaking. A little frustrating, but it does keep our device charging ports from being coming loose (mainly Amazon Fires with that problem) and dirty.

Some have claimed that the magnet isn't strong. I don't have that issue. I'm also not whipping my device hooked on the wire. The magnet is heat sensitive which means when the magnet gets too hot, like leaving it in a hot car on a sunny day, it can begin to lose its magnetism. This is natural for the material in which the magnet is made of.

Why haven't I seen these before? This is simply the greatest connector yet! I have several Micro USB plugs ( which I hate ) and not having to keep removing the cord from the device is great! I have ruined so many of the Micro USB connections and these are great because you don't remove the magnetic part.

So far so good. Haven't had any issues yet with them over the past month and they work as advertised. Seems to be a sound product, though I am treating them carefully, due to some of the reviews saying that the tips break off. Hasn't happened yet and is still good.

I love the ease of connection, and the fact that it protects the charging port/power from dust and the loosening that can occur with regular plugging in/unplugging.I would recommend these for anyone with a usb powered light board, because of the regular plug/unplug that goes on.However, in a little over a year, I have gone through three of these plugs, as the magnet has a tendency to separate, leaving the micro USB piece in the port on my phone.Also, the magnet is a bit too big for the opening on phone cases, so you may have to finagle with it a bit to get it to work.
