This is very similar to another digital timer I just had to replace! That one *Died* after just a few months use. This little thing is SCARY loud! (so tiny and can do so much decibel damage! lol) I can definitely hear this in the next room! God help you if you're IN The room with it when it goes off! LOL (no, it IS a bit startling and I am easy to 'startle' but I am used to it now). GOOD timer, GOOD noise level - easy to use. The only problem I have with it is you can't turn it off. So it's always on - digital screen is always on. THat bothers me a bit! (Waste of battery life! tho we use rechargeable's and haven't had to replace yet!! I will give it that!!) VERY sturdy magnet on the BACK - VERY Good grip/hold - positioned on my fridge. DOES NOT Budge unless *I * move it! Great timer! Inexpensive and does the job very well (no accuracy problems whatsoever).

It is nice little kitchen timer ,very loud and accurate . Only thing I do not like about it is you can not turn it off ! So its on all the times and that seems bit silly . Other than that lovely and very handy .

Great little timer. Smaller than I expected but just as I wanted- easy to operate, loud alarm, magnetic back to stick on the refrigerator. Perfect.

As a timer, this works fine — it counts up and down.The slight issues come from mounting. Also, it can't be turned off completely (so it'll always be drawing a small amount of power).The magnet is weak, but sufficient. It'll hold its own weight, but don't try to use it to hold things to the fridge!The stand is awkward. It works, but the resulting angle is close to vertical. This makes the display very hard to read. Just ignore the stand and put the timer flat on its back and it works far better!

For timing cooking as my microwave doesn't time seconds.

I have been wanting to buy a digital timer like this for ages, but kept putting it off, as I thought I could save (that few pounds) by using my mobile as a timer. It all got too oily and troublesome having to swipe the time dial on my phone recently, when I was cooking some fillet steaks for us. You know - that 1 min searing on high on each side, and then 2-min on each side for raw (husband), and 4-min each side for medium (me)? Looked on Amazon for one that can be stuck to our hood and also oven, so that I can just press and see at the same time. Found this little powerful thing, and I love it! Very accurate timing. Very loud sound, and stuck on my oven/hood perfectly. Very happy with my purchase. Photo enclosed for you to gauge the size.
