Hot Glue Gun, Surebonder Mini Size 10W High Temperature Glue Gun Kit with 25 Glue Sticks

Got this last year but didn't use until now. I used it to retwine a cat tree and my own inexperience using a glue gun resulted in blistered fingers lol. It uses small glue sticks which for this job was perfect because bigger sticks would have had more glue and likely it would have started hardening before I got the twine wrapped and I would have gotten a lot more on my fingers. The tree was a gift when I moved in and the manufacturer did a sloppy job using staples instead of glue so when the cats claws cut through the rope, it just started unwinding everywhere making a mess I didn't want to deal with. But I got some glue and twine and redid it for the cats Christmas gift and the smaller sticks got less hot glue on my fingers and the perfect amount of glue for the twine to hard stick to the posts of the tree. Would have included a photo of the tree to show my handiwork but the page kept locking up when I added a photo... usually does for some reason.

I use this for odd jobs. In particular, I needed one to seal the drain holes on the bottom of my hanging wall planters. I chose this item because it comes with the more heavy duty glue. Price is great and I will order again.

Shipping was very fast. This was my first time using a glue gun and this was very easy. The glue sticks came with purchase. The gun heated up quicky. However, i used for patches and once applied patches stuck but once it dried around the corners it loosened. This is a great gun for small projects.

This was so easy to use and super light weight.

Used it for bow making

I bought this glue gun for my crafter wife. This is what she said: “ It's clean. It drips the correct amount when I want it. Negative: It can not do my iron-on labels. I make about 2,000 1" - 3" flowers a year, and the 3" flowers I attach (iron on) my company logo on the back, But, it wasn't able to do that. I have to use a mini-iron to do that, which is convenient for me, because I have to plug in my iron PLUS my hot glue gun, or take my time and do them all another day, which to me is a total waste of my day!”
