Mountaineer Brand All Natural Deodorant Stick by Mountaineer Brand | Stay Fresh With Safer Ingredients | 2.5 oz (Mountain Fresh)

This is our second time ordering the men’s deodorant. The first time we purchased Timber, everything was perfect and the scent is great. The second time we purchased Mountain Fresh. It was a bit strong and the peppermint ingredient burns the underarm. The mountain fresh puts off an aroma that smells similar to mold. The deodorant container lid arrived busted up, but still functional. We will purchase again, just not the mountain fresh scent. I love that this is a local company for us. We recommend this product.

It does smell good and seem fresh. However, the texture is horrible. If your a male and you have armpit hair it's going to get Tacky in your hair, it's going to end up in your shirts. My mom makes the same deodorant as this, and the texture is much better and melts. This stuff does not melt very well and does not become a smooth creamy application. It says to hold against armpit to soften, I don't care if you hold it there for a minute it's still going to be gooey and gomey in your armpit. I definitely would not buy this again. And I find it to be a little bit gritty. But if you're going to wear this you're definitely not planning on going shirtless. And you're going to want to make sure you're using old t-shirts. No way would I ever wear this with a bear dress shirt.

I was reluctant to try another all natural deodorant with baking soda as I had tried Primal Pit Paste in the past which left me with horriabe, red peeling rashes under both arms. However, I have used baking soda products in the past with no reaction, so I decided to give it a try. At this point, I have mixed feelings about this product as there are some pros and cons to it.Pros:+Good odor control. I walked around a theme park for 9+hours and it could only faintly detect the odor of sweat, which is the least of what you would expect walking around for so many hours.+Good wetness control. This is not an antiperspirant but it did help keep a lot of wetness at bay, which helps reduce odor.+Pleasant odor. I favor clean, earthy and woodsy scents versus floral and sweet so this was great for me. It definitely smells strongly of citrus but it was not overbearing and the smell fades a bit after initial application.Cons:+My main grievance is the consistency. It does not apply smoothly or easily, even after warming it. The deodorant clumps and streaks and seems to sit on top of the skin. Overtime, it does seems to absorb better but you are still left with stray clumps sitting on the skin. Even trying to rub I in with you fingers leaves you with more product on your fingers than your underarms.+This is not tank top/sleeveless/little black dress friendly. I avoid anything that would showcase my underarms in this since the absorption is so poor.This does not stain clothes, so far, but will also leave streaks on clothing so definitely not an invisible solid.At this point. I will likely not repurchase this product. I will use up what I have left, but will shop around. If Mountaineer fixes the consistency to my satisfaction, I would be happy to repurchase.

So I've slowly been getting away from products that are full of weird chemicals as I use them up. My skin and hair both have never been healthier. Finally decided to try this deodorant and I couldn't be happier. I was concerned with some of the reviews and things you hear about natural deodorant, but this stuff is good. To apply I hold it to my pit for a a bit and then I rub it on. It doesn't flake or chunk. It applies like a normal stick of deodorant. The lime and sage scent is awesome and I'd even say gender neutral. The scent itself seems to last about 4-6 hours. The arrowroot powder does it's job and keeps me from sweating as much as I would. Be careful ordering in the summer. Where I live gets above 100 and it was left in the mailbox. Doesn't seem to have made an impact on this though. It would be a solid five star review if it lasted longer through the day. The price is reasonable enough for what it is, but it's hard to swallow compared to normal deodorant. I may try one or two other products eventually, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with this one.

I was very skeptical because I’ve tried 4 or 5 different non toxic deodorant brands in the past. I do not sweat a lot under my arms, my problem is with odor. This products works great for odor control and has an ingredient list that checks out. I’m a fan of the smell and so is my wife. Yes it’s a little pricy but worth it to eliminate titanium/other harmful chemicals. I will be purchasing this again. P.s. it does have a slight “sting”- almost like a mild icy hot feeling but it only lasts a short while. But I’ve never had any sort of rash/ irritation of skin so that’s a win to me.

Something is not right with the scent oils or ingredients. Overwhelming orange and citrus and no pine tar. This makes me think of "wv citrus" but take away 'wv' and add 'art district hipster'. I have several Mountaineer Brand products, I've never had an issue like this.UPDATE: SMELLS LIKE FROOT LOOPS. SELLER REFUNDED. TRIED ESSENTIAL 7, GOOD SMELL, WAY TO SOFT, EVEN COLD IT'S GOOPY.

What I love most about this product is that it’s all natural. I had a lot of problems with stuff like Old Spice because of the aluminum that caused my pits to almost “burn”. I’ve felt NONE of that and the longevity is incredible. I’m aware of my strong body odor so I’m always doing body maintenance because other people don’t need to smell all of that. Stuff like Degree or Axe would last 4-6 hours but this has lasted me close to 40 hours before it wore off and I smelled my odor again (yes, I didn’t shower for that long in the name of science). I HIGHLY recommend this product if you have strong body odor, other stuff doesn’t last long, and/or you’d like an all-natural product. The scents are great and you’ll smell them through your clothes so you know you’re fresh. Don’t apply a lot like I did or else your pits will look sweaty through your clothes. Shaving your pits will make it more effective.

It smells pretty good at first but the application is difficult as it's so dry like rubbing chalk onto your pits. It doesn't last very long for smell protection and had to reapply 2-3 times a day. I had better results with dollar store deodorant.
