Works as expected
The connectors worked as expected for me. I had to rewire some trailer lights and wanted to make secure watertight connections. The plastic organizer was damaged/partially crushed when I received the package. Cannot say when or how the damage occurred. Not enough of an issue for me to return the item.

Require a lot of heat from the heat gun, but work flawlessly
This is the first time I had purchased or used crimp connectors like this (typically I have just used crimp connectors without the heat shrink shell). I was pleased in their performance, although they do seem to have a shorter internal crimp metal section than typical union connectors. I was able to get used to that with these, however. Upon crimping and conducting a pull test, they held up well. Also the heat shrink shell would require more heat than I expected but would definitely shrink down tight, even on slightly smaller gauge wires or doubled up wires on one end of the crimp. I used this on my utility trailer first, and that thing is exposed to a lot of water and dirt due to it being a flatbed snowmobile type trailer with the wheels directly underneath. These connectors enabled me to make a much more durable connection with the wiring underneath the trailer. I trust that it will be much more solid for years to come as a result. Will save me a lot of time not having to repair the wires in a year or two.

Connectors Seem Good, Plastic Box Not So Much
These connectors seem to work as describe. and are a lot cheaper than in store. They crimp as expect so far. The heat shrink works, translucent while active then clouding back up. The problem I had and reason for 4 not 5 stars is the box they come in. The plastic appears to be on the brittle side. Mine came with the bottom extremely cracked up and chips off the top. This may or may not be the reason one of the lock tabs does not engage. Shipping box was fine and no other really heavy items in it. So either a fork truck found it or it truly is a fracture prone plastic. Hard to tell as there's not much solid surface left to play with.

These things are tough
Ok, there are a lot of them. And they are inexpensive. But totally worth it. No joke. Bought this kit for a boat rewiring after visiting my local NAPA and looking at their supply/cost. WOW... The biggest problem you will face is that... 1. Use a heat gun, because a gas torch will scald the wire before these melt down. and 2. There are so many you can screw up a bunch, finish your project (ie, my boat) and have so many left you will forget about them when you set the cute (yet non-durable) storage container in a place to be never seen again. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE THINGS. They are worth it. Prove me wrong...
