The media could not be loaded. MagikFlame has done an excellent job integrating a hologram image of a fire with a flickering log set. The hologram is generated from a 24” Westinghouse Flat screen tv (above and out of sight) reflecting on a glass surface below. MagikFlame has also done a great job capturing the images of a fire with crackling sounds in video form built into their central processing unit. Many different “fires” to choose from. The heater is also excellent and will be long lasting due to the fact they did not use a resistor heating element but used a quartz heating source. The fireplace cabinet is of excellent quality both structural and beauty. The log set below actually undulates the “embers” to enhance the “realism” of the fire displayed. One minor “con” might be you have to turn on the tv separately after turning on the main unit. The control app (iPhone) is fabulous as well as the unit’s wifi integration. Our rating is this fireplace is 95% of the real thing; the only thing missing is the smoke and hot sparks snapping out on our rug. Last point, this unit is built to last; MagikFlame appears to have used high quality components which will last a lifetime.

My sister ordered this after much research. It came in many boxes. My daughter & son-in-law spent an entire day putting it together. Called customer service many times with no call back. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!! Don't waste your money, it's a tv screen with a flame reflecting on a mirror! Customer service Howard was rude and not helpful at all!!

It works ok and does everything it is supposed to but I feel it is overpriced and just not worth the money.

Rethinking how to use our dining room finally led to the purchase of the white Artemis Mantel & HoloFlame insert. The delivery went smoothly and loaded into the garage. My husband and I were able to assemble it- seems very study and solid. The angled glass piece was a bit tricky. There is a remote to turn on the unit (if you want the holographic screen.) Otherwise, the sensitive touch screen turns on the heating unit. There is a bit of a delay, so I have to remind myself to wait before I tap the screen icons too quickly. One call with a customer service rep regarding the sound and we were all set! Some of the holographic sounds are a bit too fourth of July snappy but there are quite a few to choose from. It really makes the dining room/office a nice place to sit now! The mantel is very nice. We still need to trim out the floor molding so it sits flush to the wall. We both enjoy the heat so far this winter. It's so nice to not have to worry about any fumes!!! We will need to plug it into a power surge strip so it doesn't turn on after the electricity blinks out (picture flames not the heat.) I liked my old video a fireplace so this is very cool! We hardly ever use our gas fireplace in a different room due to the expense of gas. This may be pricey but building in a real fireplace is also very expensive (and this one is mobile so we can change it to another room if we want to ;) )

Did alot of research and I am so happy with my decision. We have wanted a fireplace in our living room for a long time and just couldn't find the one that we liked. So happy we found this one. First, the customer service is awesome. When assembling don't be in a hurry. Take your time and you will be fine. The only tricky part is the glass. Again take your time watch the YouTube videos and you will be fine. Thanks again MagikFlame.

After doing extensive research on a realistic electric fireplace for our new home, we decided on this one due to the realism and no maintenance involved, unlike others that require some in one form or another. It's not inexpensive but it's worth it. Hoping the Android application will be out soon and would also wish the heating controls would show the status like the volume. Regardless, happy with the purchase.

Here is what I did with the Magikflame. Upon assembly, not what I expected. Shortly after the one year warranty was up the touchscreen from China broke. Magikflame told me I now needed to buy an expensive part. I am done with the continuous hassle with this. I have owner several electric fireplaces and this is the most expensive with the least return looks and comfort wise. Mist turn on one touch of a remote. BEWARE. You physically need to touch the front screen each time to turn on then use remote to finish turning it on. Same thing with shutting it off!

We received our Majik Flame a week ago, and are just now able to use it. The mantle was extremely easy to assemble and looks absolutely beautiful! The fire box was another story. We had great difficulty inserting the glass into the fire box. It took us several tries over many days, but now that it is in correctly the fire is beautiful. Well worth the money.
