Abnormal Psychology

Required textbook! Helped me through the class, got a good grade. Material is a lot like most textbooks but the information is so interesting. A great class for all health majors or anyone interested in mental health. Abnormal psychology is another name for mental health, a more old fashioned name

This book, as far as text books go, was easy to follow and read. As a plus, the chapters were in line with the DSM-5 fifth edition, which I also using for my class, so that was an added bonus. Not a lot of people are going to be purchasing this for a bit of "everyday reading", but if you are looking for something to supplement your classroom text or are just interested in Abnormal Psychology, I really enjoyed this book. It made an effort to draw you into the text my giving examples of situations and people that have REAL examples of the disorders that were going to be discussed in each chapter and the language used wasn't overly scientific to the point that your head wanted to explode. I found it informative and down to earth, both a plus in my world!

One of my favorite psychology books! Personally, it made the class much more fun from how interesting and simple the book is. It wasn’t confusing or all over the place. I recommend getting it for class.

Purchased for a college course, only to love it so much, I kept it! It is written perfectly for anyone reading to easily grasp the material, and is so interesting it's virtually impossible to give up when the semester ends. My daughter has already snatched it twice, and I'm ordering again it's so good. Very rare that assigned readings are intriguing enough to keep your attention and leave you wanting more. It was so good, fellow professors switched to this text for their students! Fantastic text!

Little bit broken and bent and stained. BUT good enough quality especially for the price. It’s not going to fall apart and will get the job done. Plus it got to me 12 hours after ordering.

Used, but in great shape. Cover has seen use, but the text portion is clean. One very small section had limited green high lighting, but other than that the book is clean. Very happy with it.

Use this book for psychology and it helps me out a lot! Used but you can still see all the words and no pages are torn out

The media could not be loaded.  The book Abnormal Psychology by Ronald J Comer is one of the best purchases i have made. Its a comprehensive book for students doing Masters. The language is so fluid and presented extremely well. Along with the way physical book is printed, the fond, the texture, the colours, the layout makes me pick this book and read like no tomorrow. I didn't realise that the physical aspects of the book can make so much of a difference in learnability.

It does have a very simple literature.

The book have really great content on every topic with supporting examples. The quality of the pages were also great as I have read many comments regarding it being poor quality but my fear was all eliminated when I saw those pages personally. Also it comes with hard cover which makes it look very much like reading encyclopedia. So the price was absolutely worth it.

The textbook looks brand new. very pleased with my purchase!
