This thing really works
Works as advertised! This has been a Time saver for a bank fisherman. Not the best in the world but definitely helps you know if fish are there how many, and what size. Great investment.

Over Delivered On My Expectations!
I purchased this portable fish finder for a very remote fly-in Canadian fishing trip and was hoping for the best. I was pleasantly surprised at the immediacy of the device working. I was expecting some set up or adjusting but the device performed perfectly as is. The screen is easy to read and the screen quality good. The fish finder gave me all I needed to learn the lake with depth, water temp and marked fish. We regularly caught fish from the marks and made a huge difference for our trip. I used braided fishing line to significantly reduce chances of the line breaking and losing the sonar and attached the line to a carabiner which allowed me to easily pull it in and unhook it when motoring. I highly recommend this product for anyone needing something portable.

Sonar for under $50.00 dollars
Cold conditions really affect the battery levels. Otherwise a good product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Great for small personal water craft.

Good battery life, clear display, accurate
This is a great, portable, budget friendly fish finder. It is lightweight, the display is clear, and it is pretty accurate. It is easy to use and automatically turns on when in water. Love that it is rechargeable. Battery lasts for at least three hours.

gliches on the ice.
This is a niffy unit. Very compact and easy to use. It seems to be quite accurate except when ice fishing. I think the 90-degree sonar beam bounces off the sides of the ice hole and does not read the depth well. It would be better if the sonar angle was adjustable or more narrow. I'll keep trying. Up-Date: After a few more outings I'm getting much better results. And the ice has been even thicker so I think I was having issues due to settings. After getting more familiar with it I can say it works quite well. Very happy with it.

Great portable fish finder
This is probably one of the best items I have ever added to my fishing gear! Especially for less than $100. I have a 14' aluminum boat with outboard. No electronics! I fish in the Long Island Sound and depend upon landmarks on shore to guide me back to "hot spots". But it is always difficult to find the right depth, rips, and bottom structure. Now I can!! My first portable fish finder was a name brand where the sensor was attached to the boat with a suction pad and the cord to the visual unit. There were always problems to the extent that I never used the product. But the new wireless technology is awesome. I simply drop the sensor into the water using a "cheap fishing rod". And PRESTO! I see the depth, fish, and any structure. Even though the screen is the same size as a cell phone, it is extremely clear even in bright sun. I fished for 3 hrs and the battery life never changed. The menu items are super easy to navigate. I did turn off the sound so it wouldn't "beep" every time it picked up a fish. Hopefully it has some longevity. But overall, it's a great product

Never charged
Weak design in many ways. The sensor needs to be unscewed to charge it. The threads are very fine so they will never hold up well. The charge port on the display is not a usb-c port so that stupid. No Idea how well it would work because the sensor would never charge. Sending it back before ever using it, but it's junk I think.

Fantastic item
Can't say enough good things about this fish finder. Sensor is easy to cast using a medium rod, connects instantaneously to receiver as soon as it hits the water. Readings appear to be accurate although fish sizes are subjective, not sure what they consider small, medium or large. Receiver is a bit hard on battery life so I only use it intermittently. Highly recommend this product!

Bang for your buck
This was my first time buying a sonar fish finder, and my husband and I were so pleased with this product. It was easy to use, easy to set up, directions/info were easy to read in the start up guide that was well written clear and precise. We had a great time trying it out for our first time . We were able to tell depth and how much fish were around us, sizes etc. Very accurate and helped us map the river well. Definitely 5/5 and tomorrow we will try in the lake and with kayak.

Exactly as advertised
I have used this fish finder now for a few months for lake fishing in my inflatable kayak. I fly fish, occasionally use gear for Kokanee ...and found it quite practical to use. Prior to fishing, I put the host lanyard around my neck so it won't fall into the water...and once in the kayak, secure the sensor to one of my D rings, switch on the hand-held unit and I am in business. Accurate and practical, shows fish and bottom contour. Charge lasts about 4 hours if using it continuously...Just do not attempt to fish really deep lakes with depths over 120 feet...it won't work. But they mention this in their user manual, which by the way, is well done. Would definitely buy it again.

Why waste your precious fishing time, get a Venterior Portable Fish Finder!
Why waste time fishing in "empty" water! Venterior Portable Fish Finder can help you to locate where the fishes are before you cast your line out. Keep in mind that this fish finder does not work properly if you drag it behind your fishing boat because the waves can cause it to give false signals. Get the right kind of Venterior Fish Finder if you intend to use it while trolling.
