Got these to wear both by themselves inside my cross country ski boots and as liners under my regular socks for hiking. Haven't tried them skiing yet, but they work great under my wool socks. They are stretchy enough to stay up under my long johns, but don't pinch my toes. Nice socks. Great value.

While I don't LOVE the feel of polypropylene against my skin, these are soft enough and make a great base layer under wool-rich thick socks when out and about in cold weather. I wear a women's shoe size 9.5-10, and have about a 17" calf. These come up near the thickest part, stay put, leave a minor mark but are not uncomfortable. Wick well, peel them off and your feet feel dry in seconds if you've been sweating.

I spend a lot of time working outdoors and really appreciate good socks. These are excellent liner socks -- snug fit, stretchy, fast drying and I don't even notice the toe seam.

fit nice and does its job. fabric feels quite durable. if i come back with a review than these are no good.

I've tried so many liner socks that rip or won't stay up. These cost far less and are far superior. I wear them every day and have worn them almost every day for over a year. I hope they keep making them!! They are superior!!! Don't put them in the dryer and they should last for several years. I don't even own stocks in these socks. They are just that impressive!! They would be great as a hockey sockey. I don't play but I've tried hockey liner socks and they fall down and rip you pull them hard when pulling them up.
