direct replacement for many (rebadged) drayton controllers so no need to change backplate in my case
as above many controllers are derived from drayton so I did not need to change backplate/wiring just unplugged old (british gas up) cotroller and plugged in new one, relatively easy to program, just remember to hit confirm button after each entry, wireless stat works a treat, heating definitely switching in & out (less running time/ less gas) and much more even temperature in house as opposed to continual rising temperature the longer heating is on

Otherwise would have been perfect!
Bought to replace an original mechanical two-channel timeclock/programmer controlling a conventional gravity HW and pumped CH. A real enhancement to have a wire-free thermostat. One issue, the drayton programmer internal wiring prevents completely independent channel wiring for HW (boiler only) and CH (pump + boiler), necessitating a separate relay. Otherwise would have been perfect!

boiler not working properly got this to fix it but it did not work i do not blame the supplier it was just one the got by inspection.i would use the same supplier again.

Not the best
Very simple to setup and use, however, the customer tells me the clock keeps losing time so I'm going to have to change it for something else unfortunately

Well pleased just a straight swop with old style programmer onto existing plate Easy to programme up and running with in 20 minutes
