Large Slicer Shredder Attachment for Bosch Universal Mixers

It took me just a bit of time to figure out how to put it all together on my old Bosch. But once I figured that out, it was great! So glad I got it. Really easy to use. My first time using it, I was making Borscht, and the recipe called for lots of shredded beets, carrots, beets, etc. SO easy compared to my previous shredder.

I love the attachments for my Bosch mixer. I just got the citrus juicer attachment and fell in love with it (after my other citrus juicer died). I wondered why I was spending money on all of these other separate appliances when Bosch makes such great attachments (the Bosch mixer motor is more heavy duty than any of my other appliance motors...at least it seems so, since they all seem to die).When this came from Amazon, I thought it was missing the pin cap, I called Bosch, and they sent me a new one quickly. Putting it together, I realized that the pin cap was actually already in the lid (so check that before you call them).I love that this attaches right to my existing bowl (I have the older model so it works fine on them as well). It is a little cumbersome to attach the lid (getting the notches on the lid to go into the grooves on the bowl has been difficult, for some reason), but it's not awful enough for me to take away a star. When my cheese grates, it grates to the right side of the bowl and I have to shake it if I want to shred more in there or take off the lid to pull out or move the cheese. Again, a little hiccup but, considering I can shred way more at a time than when using my old food processor, I'm totally fine with it.Now I've got to look at all of the other useful attachments and put them on my wish list. I love my Bosch!

A great feature of the Bosch mixer! Why have another food processor when the Bosch can do it all.

After 8-10 frustrating years trying to use the Kitchenaid I was gifted, I'm happy to have a new Bosch mixer at home. I took my 40 year old Bosch to our cabin when I got the Kitchenaid and while using it there this fall I finally realized that life is too short for Kitchenaid. Once again I can slice and shred food right into the bowl instead of spraying it around the kitchen or digging it out of the horizontal cone. Even so, I am disappointed that I can't get the better slicer/shredder, shown in the attached picture, that I have with my first mixer.

Broken after 2nd use. Plastic snapped whike slicing carrots. Save your money, do not buy.

Love love love the Bosch and all the attachments to make it versatile.

Works great but the blades are very squeaky and loud.

The Bosch is great, I have been using it ever since I received it! Absolutely love it!!
