Lots of spots missed
Authors skipped by most of the really Good /Great little places that you and I would eat and stay. Not great for the ordinary people who want value, which there is still available in Ireland, if you search it out.I think this book is aimed more towards the "fine weather tourists" who have deeper pockets than most.

1st impressions..very impressive!
Just arrived and what a nice, compact little book.Well presented, clear descriptions and photo's of the Wild Atlantic Way.It is one of those kind of books that mays one excited to 'get stuck in'.I think sat outside a nice pub with a cold Guinness & this book will make a perfect day.

Note the title, this is a very narrow book
Don't expect much depth from this book, it's literally a list of eateries and places to stay (as the title states) and other than some lite narrative from the authors there's nothing here that some patient googling couldn't provide. I found this book to be very low value indeed.

Make the most of the coast
A sturdy little book that guides you along the 2500km of the Wild Atlantic Way.It is filled with beautiful photographs of both the food and the places on the way.The disadvantage of being a book is that as time goes on it will gradually become out-of-date, as places change hands or close. The advantages are the book is more in fitting with the ‘Wild’ aspect of your journey. The descriptions can help you search out the best eateries, and maybe not drive by some jewel of a place. It means you can take a break from the internet, and rely on the enthusiastic descriptions in this book.

Concise and Informative
For the Wild Atlantic Way, this is the reference book for where to stay, eat and enjoy a drink.Brief but informative, you do get the impression that they actually have visited all of the places within this book - unlike many guides. We're using this a basis for planning a trip along part of this route. It also details plenty of places to eat and stay that are just off this route.

A compact yet comprhnsive guide
This is not a guide book for Ireland but a more specific guide for the Atlantic coast of Ireland and it concentrates on restaurants and hotels. It has maps and beautiful photos as well as reviews, addresses and phone numbers for the different venues.Reading through this made me want to book a trip to Ireland as the food looks so delicious and tempting and the range of hotels offers a variety of options. We are planning a trip to Ireland driving ourselves so this will be a perfect book to aid our planning, providing maps, reviews and great tempting photos.
