I bought this set to replace my old set (stamped from a WW2 tag maker at an Army surplus store) I got a new name and other fun stuff.I've already started to use them. One piece is on my keys. The other piece I wear around my neck.My favorite thing is that I could customize the tags information, and they didn't have to be identical, but you can if that is what you want.The cute teal silencer is an extra pop of cute, plus it helps the tag to be spotted.I use the tags to give potential rescuers vital information. Name, DOB, ICE, etc.**UPDATE **I bought another set for myself. My first set is still going strong. No fading, no tarnishing, no complaints at all. The silencer is still the same pretty teal, no cracks, no fadding, or any other damage. I loved the first set so much, with MANY MANY miles on them and they look just as good as when I first got them, after I washed the dead bugs and dirt off.

Good quality. Only problem I had was the delivery. I purchased them on December 16, didn't get them till two weeks into January. They said it was a problem with UPS. The seller was very nice and cooperative. They kept me informed and were very apologetic about the delay. They informed me they sent a replacement, and when I finally received it, both the first order and second order came in same day. I actually ordered another one today. They are very nice.

I purchased three sets to crimp and attach to our luggage next to a tile pro, and the metal itself is solid—it should last a long time. The tags are well-made and look much better than the ones we used to make by hand.However, the silencers are disappointing. They fall off with even slight movement, making them unreliable and visually unappealing. If you're serious about durability, I'd recommend buying quality silencers from Rothco or a military contractor—my originals from boot camp in '94 are still intact. Just order $1 of extra silencers before you get these as a backup and thank me later.If you plan to use steel cable and ferrules for attachment, keep in mind that you may need to cut and rebuild it to replace these silencers. Overall, while I might explore other vendors next time, these work fine for luggage tagging and now clink along after I cut them off.My recommendation to the vendor is to ditch the silencers. Get a new vendor or just stop adding them to this offering. It is drag on the reviews (the not fake ones)

First time i've ordered from Tag-Z, I found the format on Amazon to be easy to use. Would be nice if the info would have a left-center-right option for viewing, but that's me being a Karen, lmao! It was easy to use, the product was not dissapointing, especially for the price, would absolutely recommend. I got the polished steel, so I cant comment on the other colors or textures. They are not the thickest, like a heavy, weight wise jewelry piece, its a basic military dog tag, was exactly what I expected it would be, I love it, showed up as ordered in set up, for the price its worth every penny.Be aware, the numbers will view lower case in the set up menu, but be upper case like letters on finished product. So if you like the lower case numbers, know that its not what you will be getting. Arrived on time as indicated when ordered, & would order again.To summarize; Set up will only give a view of info centered, & numbers will view in lower case but arrive in upper case to match letters * If looking for a classy jewelry piece, step up to a more expensive, thicker, heavier piece if offerered by Tag-Z, or look elsewhere * recommended highly for fun casual wear anytime, rearview mirror in car, his & hers, or a set for the all the kids.

Product is done and delivered quickly and the results are accurate. I like the choice of colors for the protective bumper covers. I have ordered these at least twice so far with different messages on the tags.I am happy with my purchase.

Not only are they less expensive than traditional pet tags, the writing is pressed into the metal so it won't erode like the laser etched ones from most sellers. That's exactly why I decided on these. I was tired of buying the traditional ones and having to replace them every 6 months because after while you couldn't read any of the information on them, as they wear down over time. These tags are made to last, and are hopefully the last ones I'll have to buy.
