NORTH COAST ORGANICS Revolver Organic Deodorant,.2.5oz

I love this deodorant. It's the only natural deodorant that my BO hasn't cut through. I know everyone's BO is different so I'm just saying it works for me. I've been using this one for a couple years now when before I found this one, I would have to rotate through different ones thinking they just stopped working after a couple months.I love the way it smells, it has a very subtle natural smell. I was using the Death by Lavender scent but after i had my baby boy, i wanted to avoid lavender bc I've read it can mess with male hormones and can encourage too much estrogen.The texture is a bit strange bc it's not smooth. It's more like ... cookie dough but not as sticky or gooey. Just more like the sugary aspect of cookie dough. After I apply, I usually put the cap on and smear it around with the top on the cap bc it can go on a tiny bit clumpy/sandy.

I was looking for a replacement for my beloved Meow Meow Tweet natural deodorant. Yes, I love it, but at $20+ per stick... it's hard to justify spending that much on deodorant. Yes, MMT applies a little smoother and mayyybe works a little bit better in terms of smell, but by a (armpit) hair. At this price, this deodorant works just as well, smells fantastic (I've never been around a gun so I'm not sure if that's what a revolver smells like but that's fantastic if it does!), and keeps me smell- free all day. I work in Manhattan and have to walk several city blocks to get to work- this prevents any smells. Natural deodorants are NOT antiperspirants- so keep this in mind. As with my MMT stick, I need to apply another coat before working out (after work, post 10 block walk) but that's because asking a natural deodorant to withstand my sweating during a workout is asking a lot. I don't mind having to reapply because, duh, I'll be sweating a lot. I can't wait to try the other fragrances, but this is such a light and subtle musk I love it. Thank you for saving me money!!

Have been using for about for about two weeks now and I must say its working pretty well. At first I was adding some cedarwood oil to wet the stick alittle but now all I have to do is rub it with my finger until the stick is oiled enough to apply comfortably. At first I would find it would loose it smell and my smell would come through but the more I use it I find my body is adjusting. I can go all day even with a good sweat and I find it keeps me fairly dry and the smell at the end of the day is kind of woodsie! I really enjoy the cedarwood scent it puts out and would recommend this Deoderant to anyone looking for a more natural alternative to antipersperants. It looses a star because of difficulty of applying but once you get used to it, it does get easier. Also after a long day of sweating you will notice buildup of a waxy resedue under your arms, this is normal. Remember to lightly scrub under your arms while washing off as to not irritate your skin. Lightly wash as it will be tempting to scrub hard because of the waxy feel it leaves but light scrubbing gets it off and you will not have an after shower smell of stale deodorant like other brands tend to do.

I have a severe allergic reaction to the fragrances found in many common cosmetics, soaps, and deodorants. This is the first product I have used which is both completely fine for my skin, and also functions very well as a deodorant. I've been using it for several months, and have not developed any issue to daily use.The product itself has a bit of fragrance which is common among natural wax products. It's very subtle, and gender-neutral. In consistency, it applies to the skin similarly to a baking soda antiperspirant, but remains on the skin better and without leaving white marks on clothing. It also washes off more easily than other deodorants I've tried.The main consideration for purchasing this product would be the price, but if you have a sensitivity to other common products, then it's an easy choice. Highly recommended.

I was looking for something with no xenoestrogens and I found Revolver referred to a body building site. I know it looks geared toward males but it works great for me. It ha s a slight smell of coconut oil. I have not had any of the 'soft, melty' problems I have seen in other reviews.Seems to keep me dry where I apply. Also! Big bonus, my shirts don't carry that deodorant smell that lingers even after you wash it. It is wonderful not to have that sweaty perfumy smell at the end of the day

Update: Deodorant I received today 8-25-20: Totally dried up and spoiled..can't even twist to roll up! I've used this particular deodorant for 2+ years! I think I should get a Replacement! I can attach picture of it?! I've been using this particular Organic/natural deodorant for about 3 years now! I worked at a Health food/Vitamin store and we had many but not this brand. I first purchased it at the Food Co-op but as it's some miles away choose to order from Amazon. It is excellent! Smells pleasant and works quite well. If you are very heavy sweating it may not cover it all, but Hey...do you really want a deodorant cover-up!? I don't. I've had breast cancer and those traditional deodorant's are not nearly as healthy. Only one small grip...is that the date is not always far enough out...meaning it should at Least be 6-months till expiration. And I did have to return one but that was 2 years ago and they've been fine. Excellent Product!

I am conflicted with this product. The ingredient list is excellent and the reason I purchased it. The scent is also top notch. Unfortunately the texture and consistency of the product is not good. There is no glide with this product. It is sticky and brittle at the same time. You must carefully apply (feels like rubbing a dry candle in my pit) and you cannot extent the product very far beyond the container or it breaks off. I feel like I am scraping my pit with the plastic container (not fun). I am going to go to Whole Foods and see what else they have. I hope there is something better. The bottom line for me is the ingredient list. If I can't find something better I will reluctantly continue to use this product. There must be some toxin free lube you could add to this to make it a bit more user friendly.
