Love this whole series
I teach fifth grade and have purchased and used this book in addition to Daily Science, Daily Math, and Daily Language. I love all of them for a number of reasons. It makes for great seat work at the beginning of a class period, it helps me identify gaps in learning and the kids enjoy the work. Overall, I find these books to be a valuable tool in my classroom.

Quick worksheets for map skills & geography terminology
I use this series with my children who are currently in 3rd and 4th grade. The material isn't all that challenging (meaning the 3rd graders can easily do this 5th grade level), but it is nonetheless a quick and easy geography vocab/reasoning skills review to throw into the mix. It is also something the kids can do completely independently (including reading the lesson.) Although the title is "Daily" geography we do this twice a week. On the first day they read the lesson and study the map, and on the second day they answer the questions for all 5 days. Day 1 takes 15 minutes and Day 2 takes them about 10. Like I said, this it not an extremely complex program but it does a great job of ensuring you're covering all your bases with geography terminology and basic map reading skills! We used the series last year too and the material is definitely cyclical - meaning the same topics are being covered, at a slightly more complex level, in each grade book. I like that the Evan Moore copyright license gives me the right to copy this for single family and/or classroom use. I slice the spine off of it, scan it, and then either print pages of have the kids fill them out on the iPad.

Love
When I noticed in November, that my students barely knew what cardinal directions were, I bought this book and it has helped so much.

Super resource to add geography/map skills quickly and easily...
I also have the books for grades 3 and 4. Was hoping that there would be more weekly lessons on other parts of the world...very little coverage for Europe, which seemed surprising.

My 3rd book!
I have bought this book for every one of my children. It is how we start our homeschool day. It has five lessons a week, they take maybe 5 minutes to complete. I can't say enough good things about it. The book starts off easy and progresses in nature.

Our most consistently liked homeschool staple
Possibly one of the best homeschool staples ever. My workbook hating 8yo son loves these. Interesting, but bite sized. He's in third grade, and we're skipping up to fifth so they're definitely on the easy side, but good. I learn stuff. Also, NOT the same as the other evan-more geography; the daily practice ones are way better.

An awesome Geography book for 5th grade!
I really liked this book for teaching geography to my 5th graders! It had daily lessons that you can use as a packet. The kids really enjoyed it because they liked the different, weekly packets.

Great product for kids to learn about mapping and identifying things on maps
My daughter uses this in her class at school and we bought this copy for extra practice at home. Clean book - no marks (bought used). The info is great and the questions really make the kids think!
