Good quality product. It was easy to clean because I always use the organic coconut oil to season all of my food and oil my cooking pots/pans so that food doesn't stick.

I love this. It makes the best rice I replace part of the water with coconut milk that adds An extra nutty flavor And just add 1/3 cup extre water if you want to leave it on warm in case you want it for after work meal. Add other veggie and seasoning to recipe I can't wait to make yougert Another thing it's very nice looking and looks perfect left on the counter top!

Really frustrated, second meal I prepared resulted in a cracked pot and all the liquid spread to the electric cooker and shorted it out. I am trying to get a refund.

My favorite kitchen gadget for rice and anything you would put in a slow cooker. Fantastic product. Easy and quick. I cannot say enough about this product.

It is good

Makes fantastic rice when it works. The heating element builds up with scale which causes the cooker to shut off. It helps if you move the heating element around but the cooker can enter the error mode at anytime during the cooking cycle. Really disappointing.

The first two I bought from Amazon were sent to me with broken lid clasps. Amazon was very good about replacing the first and giving me a refund for the second.I then decided to try to order directly from the manufacturer. I was not pleased with this appliance at all. I followed the directions specifically for chicken and rice. First I set the timer for 45 minutes according to the instructions. The timer stopped at 8 minutes and never moved from that point. After about an hour or more, I opened the pot to check the contents. The rice was burnt on the bottom, crunchy (raw) at the top, and the chicken was still raw. There was plenty of liquid still in the pot.Upon calling their customer service for a refund they said that because I did not do it right and the pot was used they would not give me a refund. Their instructions did not say to cut up the chicken first, among other things. Finally, after describing how I felt their policies and instructions were not right, they agreed to a 50% refund. By this time I was so frustrated, I agreed to that. Lesson learned.

This device combines the best of traditional ancient cooking and modern convenience. We have had it for 8 months and use it constantly especially for soups and stews. The clay pot has held up well following the directions on how to treat it kindly. And things really taste better when cooked in unglazed clay. Plus, this method is very clean.The addition of just one more feature would make this perfect: Soup mode only goes for a maximum of 4 hours and 50 minutes cook time plus 12 hours warm time. Today's modern paleo recipes call for 24 hour bone broth. As bone broth is popular now among health-conscious consumers, please make a newer version with a 24 hour soup timer! That way we won't have to keep resetting it. I don't use the yogurt feature as I have other yogurt devices, but the GAP and Specific Carb and other gut-healthy diets call for 24 hour fermented yogurt. So, the 24 hour feature would be good on the yogurt setting as well.
