NOH Chinese Lemon Chicken, 1.5-Ounce Packet, (Pack of 12)

Overall, this was not bad, but also not what I was hoping for. I was really wanting that true Chinese lemon flavor but instead I got a hint of it.Also, the other reason my overall review is a little low is because the sauce is heavily dyed. Two of my fingers got sauce on them, and the yellow stained my fingers and finger nails. The yellow stains stayed on my nails for about a day and a half. I understand wanting to dye it to make it look lemony, but the dye was a little intense.I think the next time I use their packet, I'll add in zest from a lemon along with the juice from it too. Hopefully that will add a little more citrus flavor to the sauce.

NOH sells their products here in Hawaii. For whatever reason the lemon chicken is not always available. I'm putting this on auto delivery so i won't have to go without.What could be easier. Buy pre made frozen chicken nuggets or fresh from the deli. Heat them up. Add one half cup of water and heat according to directions. The lovely light lemon flavor soaks into the nuggets. Not overly sweet. Just right lemon flavor.

I tried a few other options, but for read-made stuff this is the best I've found. It's very yellow, I mean it gives your chicken a very bright and appetizing appearance, and I like that. It's also very easy to prepare, and I make this by deep frying or stir frying the chicken.When I stir fry, I usually just boil some water and set the mix after stirring it with the water, then I just stir fry the the chicken in a wok until it's ready, then I add the mix and stir (it takes about 10 minutes to get to the right consistency). It's a lot healthier than deep frying, and the lemon flavor is so strong and sweetly tart that you won't miss the batter fried chicken as much as you might otherwise think.

I like it very much, nice & glazy, and I marinade meats & veggies. Really enjoying the lemony versatility. Highly recommend & will will be reordering for many years.

This lemon sauce is full of flavor and zest, it pops breaded chicken beautifully and tastes just like shop-bought lemon sauce from your favorite Chinese restaurant.

Three of the packages were busted open when I recived them. Too bad because they're tasty.

I've used for years and happy I can get it from Amazon.

I am confused by the description because I only received one 1.5 oz packet in the mail, although it says a pack of 12.
