Brilliant delivery, easy to fit, excellent product

This is a long-term review as I purchased 8 of these direct from the Solar Centre 18 months ago.There's not much to do as far as installation as they are solar powered, just screw them to the fence and you're all done. The lights have 3 settings which is accessed by removing the bottom defuser/lens. You can choose between full brightness, low brightness or off. The brightness on full is very good and during the summer months will last several hours, even the lower brightness setting is respectable.During the winter months and even on the lowest setting they will only last for about 1-2 hours at best, it's at this time when I switch the lights off to protect the batteries.One thing to point out is that the thread on the bottom defuser which screws into the main body it not very good and can easily become cross-threaded. Also, after 18 months there is some minor discoloration and the solar panel is a bit hazy, however they still function perfectly.One plus point is that you can access the battery if it becomes defective.

I bought 12 of the previous model of this light which shone the light at an angle but the lights would often last all night and I was really happy with them. A couple of years later and some of them no longer work and the old design was discontinued. When I saw this new design with the light angle straight down I preferred it and bought 5 to replace the old ones. What a waste of money. They barely last a few hours.Such a shame a brand I’ve recommended to several others no longer has the quality or my trust to buy anything else from them.

Replacement for the one I purchased 3 years ago. Only let down due to water getting into solar panel at the top. But was impressed so I purchased this Replacement.

I found this light decent quality for its price as far as the overall light goes, but so far the battery life has been poor only providing maybe 2-3 hours of light. Its not very bright.Also the instructions only explain to turn the light on and off but in practice there are 3 options, off and what I think is on all the time and on for the light sensor for when its dark.I will see how it goes, but I can see me replacing this light by the summer due to the poor battery life.

Looks great works well

Looks good and easy to install, however, the threaded light diffuser is easily dislodged as the thread no longer holds it in place but more importantly no matter which setting is used, the light only functions for a couple of hours. I have it placed at my front door and suggest that maybe this type of light is better suited to a garden setting.

What can I say but absolutely loving this. Working well .and great value for money 👍
