I don't believe these stones are meant for an aquarium. My ammonia levels spiked off the charts when I put them in my tank. Months went by where I struggled to figure out why my ammonia levels would not come down, regardless of treatment and water changes/cleanings. I finally took the rocks out because they don't look as nice as I thought and are too light, so they would drift across the tank. Within days of removing the stones, my ammonia levels finally dropped. As an experiment, I placed some of the stones (I cleaned them first) into their own container of clean water and then tested the water after a few hours. Sure enough, ammonia was present in the water. I do not recommend these stones for aquarium use.

I want my money back, what a rip off. The bag itself says 1.5 pounds despite the description online saying 2. I weighed it, it wasn't even 1.5. Ridiculous.

The color came off on my hands when I washed it.
