Received Rusty Tool Box
When the tool box arrived at my house and I took it out if the box, it had surface rust between the two gull wings. Very disappointed.....

The finish on it does not look like it will hold up very well to scratches
Cant really complain. It works. The finish on it does not look like it will hold up very well to scratches. Just above the keyhole on the drivers side there is a small scratch or rub from shipping that went thru the paint. Its already showing rust which I applied some rust converter to. It uses U-Bolts to attach unless you care to drill holes thru the rail. I used the U-Bolts on a new 2014 Silverado Extended Cab. One thing I am concerned about is that someone can get to the U-Bolts from below then cut them and make off with the tool box. Take some determination but possible. Seems sturdy enough and I believe it will last but I plan on coating my bed, Ill get them to spray the tool box as well.
