KleenWater Replacement for Water Factory SQC4 and 3M 3MRO401 Water Filters and Module, Made in USA, Set of 4

I was in search of the OEM replacement filters. I searched every node of the internet to no avail. That’s when I came across this filter package. I must admit, I was hesitant and skeptical. I had been burned in the past when using “other” brand replacements. I was 100% wrong in my assumption. This is a high quality filter, it replaced the OEM with a perfect fit no leaks. Water taste and smell is fantastic.

Product was fine but no instructions were included. We were a little lost when YouTube videos did not match our situation. However, we called the phone number on the product and they were very helpful in talking us through it.

The 4 cartridges were compatible with the Purificare filters I had. Installation was easy for a 1st timer though a little messy with water dripping quite a bit - probably didn't completely drain the system before installation. I use a TDS pen monitor and after a couple days it settled to under 10ppm which is how the previous filters performed. My regular tap shows 60-80ppm range.So all in all a super buy for about half the price of the Purificare filters.

I was concerned after reading the review that said that the PPM number was higher than with the old membrane. I was getting 20-30ppm on my TDS meter with my 6.5+ year old RO membrane. And, I also measured 30+ppm with the new membrane. However, that was "before" I flushed through a few gallons---which you should always do when installing new carbon filters. Now I'm getting around 20ppm. I think that I also read a review saying the waste hose diameter was too big, not giving enough back-pressure. When I compared the old and new, I thought that was right. But, when I removed the new (red) tube I noticed that it was reduced on the connected end. So, why pay so much more for 3m, Cuno, Water Factory filters? The only reason might be longevity. Time will tell.

Installed easily and the water has been great tasting since replacing a month or two ago.

Very reasonably priced alternative to paying for the "name-brand" filters. Nearly 40% savings! Similar quality. Perfect fit and extremely easy installation. Free shipping also sealed the deal. I will be purchasing from them again the next time a filter change is needed.

I think it is odd that, using a water ppm tester, showed my 6 year old cartridges registering 20 and the new cartridges I purchased as 34. I never would have spent the money on new cartridges if they weren't an improvement.
