Lonely Planet Ukrainian Phrasebook & Dictionary

I like this product because it has Ukrainian phrases and tells you what it is in English. I also like that it has the Ukrainian alphabet in it and a map of Ukraine. It also has an index so you can find exactly what you need when you need it.

Important to note that Ukrainians want you to speak Ukrainian as they are a proud of their heritage and language. It is a beautiful language and they smile when you try. The phrasebook helped me alot on my travels.

Excellent book to learn Ukranian. I highly recommend. It has many situations you can find yourself into, only drawback is that the print is very small.

A very helpful companion for a traveler to Ukraine. Small, compact and has what you need to know to get around and communicate.

Living this little guy. It’s small enough to carry with me everywhere and is jam packed. I like the organization of everything. Only wished it carried a Ukrainian to English dictionary similar to its English to Ukrainian dictionary.

All you need for at least try to learn the somehow difficult language and alphabet. Good value for money and good to bring with you for translation since you can't count on English language

Liten bok som rymmer mycket information och får plats i fickan.Många användbara ord och fraser, organiserade i olika teman som gör det lätt att hitta.

As a fledgling student of Ukrainian, I went to Collins first for an English-Ukrainian dictionary, only to be sadly let down by its lack of phonetics for the Ukrainian words.No such problem with Lonely Planet.Their book is excellent - filled with useful phrases and information- most importantly to an English speaker: phonetically spelled in brackets, so that you can work out pronunciation without the benefit of a native speaker to teach.Highly recommended as a learning/travelling resource book.

Está escrito la forma en la que se pronuncia y la forma en la que se escribe. Creo que es un libro útil, aunque no reemplaza a un curso de Ucraniano
