Great for soaping!
These are a great size for soap-making. Very flexible and easy clean-up. I just rinse, then toss in the dishwasher (upper rack). This size is good for a recipe calling for about 1lb oils. You'll get a bit extra, depending on your other ingredients.I bought several of these, different shapes, at the same time, and all of them work great. I use a cookie sheet underneath them for stability when I'm filling with soap.*update* Since there aren't any customer pictures with this, I thought I'd add one. The soap turns out pretty smooth and glossy, depending on your recipe of course.

Nice square mold
The mold is okay if you are looking for a square shape. It probably holds about 4 ounces of soap. ( 2.5" X 2.5") I always put the mold on a tray before filling them. I made some soap for a kids birthday party. I am very new at this so don't judge. lol They did not come out as expected. It is a lot of fun though. I bought some melt and pour soap, also on amazon. It was very easy to do but wasn't sure how to put the Pokemon bracelets in.

Wrong description for capacity, not 4.5 oz
The mold is good and it does work like it should. My problem with it is that mine did not hold 4.5 oz like the description states. I needed to make 4 oz blocks for my recipes and this did not hold it. It was more like 3.8 or 3.9 oz. It still works and i will use it for something else someday.

Used this to make my lotion bars for my son since he had some eczema on his arms and legs and it works great. So great that i use it on my face every morning before I leave for work. Here are the ingredients i used to make my first 4 bars:- 4 ounces coconut oil- 6 ounces shea butter- 4 ounces beeswax- 15-20 drops of essential oil
