Loctek Heavy Duty Gas Spring Dual Arm Desk Mounts Fits 10"-27" Monitor (D5DH), Black

So first I want to start out and state that this can hold my 28" Asus PB287Q with no problem. I bring this up because this monitor is definitely on the heavier side. I believe it is about 17 or 18lbs which is more than most arm desks are rated for.Assembling:This was simple. I didn't need to use the instruction manual at all, and it took about 10 minutes. The only problem I had was that the provided screws did not fit my aforementioned ASUS, but I was able to use the screws that were being used in the stock stand.I haven't tried adjusting the arms much as they basically worked without any adjustments, just had to tighten one of the joints.Build Quality:The gas springs are strong, so when taking it out of the packaging, be careful. Everything seems really sturdy. It is mostly metal with a little bit of plastic covering. I honestly feel like this will last for a lifetime.Overall I love this thing so far, and if you need a dual arm mount don't bother looking at others. It is a little more expensive than some of the others - but it is rated to hold heavier monitors, which is needed for a lot of UHD displays.

I bought this so I could put two 27 inch monitors side by side....First the good..... the apparatus itself is very sturdy, so I am very pleased with the build quality. I have two differently weighted monitors and I was able to adjust the height on the lighter one using the adjustments fine. It came with all the hardware for various mounting options.Now the bad....Yes it can fit two 27 inch monitors side by side in landscape mode...... however they must be perfectly flat relative to each other, you cannot have a slight corner V where they come together. The connecting arms are just not long enough. And in order for them to even fit side by side without the V, you have to push them very far away from you so that the arms are essentially over the base to maximize the arms stretching out. Too far away for me to see them well. So unfortunately I had to configure one monitor in landscape and the other in portrait mode to be able to get them close to me, and with a slight corner V. Also the maximum height is not as high as I would have liked. Seems if they had just made the arms a couple inches longer it would have been perfect. Like I said the build quality is good. But they really should not advertise this as a supporting two 27 inch monitors. Buyer beware. I have a corner desk and luckily the desk has a cabling hole. I mounted the apparatus in the cabling hole. If it was mounted at a desk edge, I would not be able to get the monitors close enough and still be in a corner. I would be forced to favor a side. In hindsight I would have been better off with two single-arm units. I think if you have a rectangular desk, maybe this would be less of an issue (other than the height).

Perhaps I am spoiled from using very nice monitor arms at my workplace, but I ordered these for my home setup and I am very dissatisfied with them. "Assembly" was very obnoxious (though not hard). They are listed for up to 27" monitors but I do not suggest them for dual 27" monitors. The gas spring tension mechanism is not as functional as it should be. I was unable to adjust the tension far enough so that my monitor would stay down, but this may have been due to my monitor being very lightweight. I didn't weight my second monitor before ordering these arms, only my primary one, but I didn't expect it to be an issue. The mobility that these arms provide is minimal. It is virtually impossible to center either monitor in front of you (which would be ideal when gaming on my primary monitor). Until I eventually buy new monitor arms, I guess I'll just have my head twisted permanently to the left when gaming. This would not be a problem for work-only monitors as it isn't necessary for your primary screen to be directly in front of you. The main reason I'm "okay" with keeping them is because I'm too lazy to disassemble them and my second monitor was sitting on books before so virtually anything is better than that. I will be replacing these in the near future.

It is made very well, but they advertise this as being absolutely adjustable and it is not true, the most obvious configuration doesn't work well. if you have 2 21 in monitors getting them next to each other​ in landscape mode will not work without losing a lot deskspace in front of the base that holds it on the desk. While there were assembly instructions, I did not see information on usage. I am getting 2 27" monitors but I fear I will have the same problems as in the review by @Thomas Nolette, it is a shame that the design falls short and ruins a great in other ways designed item. If the lower arms of the base were allowed to adjust all the way back and the arms were a little bit longer as @thomas Nolette suggested, it would be awesome, but right now I am waiting for the new monitors to see if I have to return this

Primero aclaro que tuve que devolverlos porque uno de los brazos no servia correctamente y no podía ajustarse.--Lo bueno:-la calidad de los materiales, aguanta bien monitores de 27' y la facilidad para montarlo en el escritorio.--Lo malo:-Es un poco complicado de ajustar. Hay que estar cambiando la tensión de los brazos a acorde al peso de tu monitor y es un proceso laborioso.- Toma mucho espacio de tu escritorio. Debido a la inclinación y ángulos de los brazos si quieres poner dos monitores de 27' o de 24' juntos, lado a lado en modo paisaje, los monitores terminan muy adelante de la base de este soporte, por lo que ocupan mucho espacio de escritorio. Yo los use en una mesa con un ancho de 62 cm y no era cómodo utilizarlo debido a la cercanía de los monitores a mi rostro.

Compré un soporte de este tipo para un monitor de 24 pulgadas muy ligero y me gustó mucho su funcionalidad porque te deja acomodarte de diversas maneras, lo probé con un monitor ultrawide de 34 pulgadas de alrededor de 7 kilos de peso y dicho soporte no lo aguantaba. Buscando otro soporte encontré este que soporta cerca de 10 kilos y efectivamente ha funcionado sin problemas, el peso del monitor no vence el amortiguador y lo puedo mover con relativa facilidad, lo tengo desde septiembre de 2017 y no me ha fallado.Cabe mencionar que no lo muevo tanto como mi otro monitor y lo que no hago con el aunque se nota que es fácil es la rotación a modo vertical y tuve que apretar una tuerca con la herramienta que viene incluida para que se mantuviera sin inclinarse.Las instrucciones lucen algo intimidantes pero la instalación es mas fácil de lo que parece y recuerden con todos los soportes de este tipo mantengan alejado el rostro o cualquier cosa cercana cuando liberen el amortiguador que se acciona con más fuerza de lo que parece, lean las instrucciones antes de desempacar.

El soporte lo uso en un escritorio al cual le tuve que hacer una perforación y la instalación del brazo quedó bastante estable y resiste los dos monitores BENQ GC2870 de 28" que les colge. El detalle es que al ser monitores de 28" no queda espacio suficiente entre ellos y por tanto la movilidad y distribución de los mismos cuesta un poco de trabajo, pero bueno, sabía por la descripción que estaba indicado para monitores de 27" y mi única preocupación era que el soporte no pudiera sostener a mis monitores pero la verdad es que lo hace sin problemas y muy bien. Estoy muy conforme y a gusto con el producto.

Very pleased with this purchase, as it created a ton of new real estate on my desk. I work in a busy office, so desk space is a premium commodity. These were relatively easy to install, but I am rather handy. A non-handy person may have struggled, but this monitor desk mount is a really good piece of hardware. I strongly recommend it to anyone needing a dual monitor mount. It creates space, and it allows you to move monitors very easily into a different configuration, depending on your needs. Great purchase.ADDENDUM: I have since purchased two more of these, one for my Real Estate assistant and one for my Office manager. I'll likely buy a fourth and fifth, so that every station in my office has their monitors suspended. My review above continues to be true all these months later, and proven two more times over.

Este soporte doble lo instalé con dos monitores de 27" y quedó perfecto! Muy fácil de instalar y de ajustar, de muy buena calidad de materiales. Dentro de todas las opciones que analicé, ésta fue la más adecuada en costo y resultó también una gran compra!!!
