It is a beautiful ornament. It was more than I expected.

The starfish has particularly special to me regarding my late husband. He helped me overcome my fear of water. When I found this ornament, I bought it immediately. The price had varied over time. I have seen it cost over $25 US dollars, and also for less than $5. As for the ornament itself, it is exquisite. The depth of color is wonderful. The finish is smooth and lustrous. The size is substantial without being too dominating over other decor. It makes a lovely sun-catcher in a window at any time of year.

The quality is true Hallmark! My daughter is in Cosmetology school right now! I give her an ornament every year that shows her interest!!

I gave this to my best friend for Christmas and wished that i'd bought me one for me, too! It's very pretty on the Christmas tree, you can see the lights glowing through it and it gives a pretty peachy glow. You could hang it on something and use it all year to decorate with.
