BIG FAIL!
I use my torque wrench for Special Inspections.Typically I use my wrench to verify 10-25% of all installations for wedge and screw anchors. It is not used for heavy installations . . .After sending this wrench in to get calibrated it was periodically used to simply hear the click of the contractors installations. Sometimes I would hand it to the contractor to use for small handfulls of anchors if they didn't have a calibrated wrench on hand but not for anything bigger. It took a dive within a few months. The ratcheting mechanism got loose at the screw and made the turn dial get stuck in place. It has not been used for larger than 5/8" anchors/screws.This is not a Proto manufactured product, Proto simply bought the company and put their name on it :( bad call!I'm back at Amazon to purchase areal Proto torque wrench . . . .RAM-ESI

Oh great it just failed in middle of job
I have used this a handful of times without any issues. Today I am wrapping up a wheel hub repair and it just failed while I was adjusting the TQ setting. Great now I have to scramble for another TQ wrench so this car is not stranded. NOT awesome.
