Lightweight and Great Connectivity
The media could not be loaded. Having already reviewed one Intack scanner, I’ve now had the opportunity to review this one. This comes in a plain brown cardboard box, with pretty much no branding on at all, and in the box, you get the following: Scanner, Scanner to USB Cable, Wi-Fi Dongle and Set-up Card with various useful barcodes on. This one, unlike the previous, doesn’t come with a stand. Therefore, it’s hand-held only, unless you decide to buy one. There's wasn't a lot of setting up to do, to get the scanner working. I plugged the cable in to my PC initially and as soon as I plugged the USB part in, it was recognised. The same went for using the Bluetooth Dongle.I opened an Excel spreadsheet and scanned a few barcodes in. They went in straight away and it also did the "Return" part as well, so the cursor was on the next cell. It was quick at recognising the code, even from a distance. When I connected it to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, via a USB adapter and the Bluetooth dongle, it worked just a well at capturing the codes into an Excel spreadsheet. I would say it performed slightly better than the first one I triedI'm not an expert by any means when it comes to these types of things, but this is light, cable free, quick and scanned codes with few errors. I really liked the fact that it could be connected to a tablet or mobile phone, if you’re going to be out of the 400m range. At £79.99, it’s quite a bit more expensive than the first one I reviewed from Inatack.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful.

What a fantastic Scanner
The media could not be loaded. This is the first scanner I have owned, so I feel spoiled not having come from a wired scanner, which means yes, its WIRELESS which is absolute freedom. It's lightweight and oh so comfortable in the hand, and if truth be told, when I'm scanning things I feel like a cowboy in a western, ha. It is fairly durable too, thanks to the hard plastic and rubber around the outside, so if you let it fall, it might just survive. The system comes with a charger that will give the scanner enough power for an average of 30 days use thanks to the 2600 mAh battery and a USB transmitter that pops into your laptop and sets up automatically. When scanning, it recognizes the products immediately and beeps, signifying the recognition. There are even barcodes to scan to help you set up the system. An absolute MUST for small businesses and the self-employed seller.

A step forward from the previous edition
When I tried out the P6 version of this scanner I was impressed by the range, accuracy and variety of modes. So when this became available to write about, I went for it to see how things had moved on.The good news is that many of the things that made the original version great are once again back with this edition. It’s solid, easy to set up thanks to the USB dongle provided and a series of barcodes to scan for the different modes, has great battery life and is charged with a standard cable and also fast and responsive. Options remain to have it either work just as a keyboard for a computer or to record all the scans with inventory mode and upload them later.New features also mean you can now connect to a phone, tablet or computer via Bluetooth adding flexibility and removing the need for the dongle in many cases. While this doesn’t work with all apps, it’s a great thing to have in the back pocket. Also comes the promise of being able to scan barcodes on a phone - this for me was a little bit hit and miss but could be useful nonetheless. Range and scanning accuracy seem to have been improved while a vibration has also been added to remove the need for constant beeping.Overall then, what was a really great barcode scanner already has just got even better. Some super new features here and a decent step forward meaning this is my new top option.

Feels good to hold, easy 3 way connection options and long battery life, i like it.
This handheld barcode scanner can be connect to a computer via the supplied usb cable for fixed purposes, it will connect via bluetooth for local wire free connection, or you can use the supplied usb dongle with 433 mhz radio technology for up to 400 metre wireless range (in ideal conditions). The scanner has rubber bumpers all around, which i was very grateful for as i dropped it by accident. It has a power switch on the back for main on/off but there is no need to use it as it goes into automatic standby after a couple of minutes of not being used, a quick flick of the trigger awakes it immediately. The internal battery lasts for absolutely ages and is recharged via USB.On the top are a couple of leds, when the scan is sucessful one lights up blue and vibrates, if not it shows a red led and bleeps. You can put it into set up mode and make a few changes by simply scanning the codes in the manual or the quick set up card, great idea, so much simpler than a web gui.It feels good in the hand, it has a nice balance and weight that makes it feel like a professional productI will be using this to scan equipment barcodes on and off jobs for the hire company i work for.

Cheap and cheerful
Works well, doesn’t do too many extras but good for basic bar code scanning. Good battery life or works well plugged in - very good for general scannning.

Very good scanner
Distance is incredible, states 400m but I wouldn't be able to try and beat this, I would assume this is for clear line of sight! None the less a very comfortable scanner to use, easy to setup and does what you need from it with no problems.
