I previously purchased one at hallmark and loved it. So much so when I visited my brother in Minnesota I gave him mine, (obviously the weather is worse there, than in Arkansas). This past soon to be winter season I went to hallmark to purchase myself another heated scarf and was amazed that the person that I asked about them stated they probably would not ever stock them again because they had sooooo many complaints. I thought wow these people didn't know a good thing when they had it. So I went to Amazon and purchased one (more expensive than what I had paid for at Hallmark), but I was determined to replace the one I had given away. Unfortunately I have had nothing but problems with this one....... The battery pack appears to work great until you plug the heating element into the battery pack. The powers light goes off once it has been turned on and the heating element doesn't ever heat up properly.... But the heating part of it isn't what I expected. It heats up but it's so subtle that you can't really tell if it's heated or not. I didn't notice it keep me any warmer than a regular scarf.
