Very sturdy, stable, and well made for shop stool. I'm 280 and this one supports my weight no problem. I might decide to chop a couple inches off the legs (no biggie with a pipe cutter) to reduce the height, but I'll wait and use it a while first. Assembly was 5 minutes. Allen wrench was included to tighten bolts. Seat is large, thick, well padded, and comfy. I'm a big guy; and if you've had problems with recliners, stools, chairs, etc. with hydraulic seat height adjustments, then you know that they eventually fail where the pedestal is welded to the base, rendering them worthless. This stool relies on a very simple basic, sturdy design. The seat swivels on ball bearings, not a plastic sleeve. The foot ring is mounted on the outsider of the legs (at a comfortable height), and the top ring is mounted inside the legs for durable stability. I don't expect that I'll be breaking or replacing this stool anytime soon. Would I buy it again.......yes.

These bar stools are great. Just what we wanted for our shop/bar. They are sturdy and the top seat is comfortable. Easy to put together, just have 4 screws to attach the seat. Unlike others that you have to put together completely.

I bought 19 of these for my bar and almost every one of them have broken down in less than 2 months of use. Absolute trash. Don't buy.

Just what I was looking for to go in front of my slot machine very retro looking. Material is not something that you would want lots of people to sit on as overtime. It would break down, but we don’t have that problem and it’s just as I thought I would look.

This is a very well made stool. Very sturdy, but I'm short and I wanted a stool that wouldn't have my legs dangling LOL. The height and depth dimensions should be switched.

Like many others, I was missing the bolts to the seat cushion so I couldn't connect it to the stool. The stool came partially assembled with the seat cushion off and next to the stool base in the box. I took the cushion to my local ACE hardware and found that both 1/4 x 20 x 3/4" bolts and 10-32 x 3/4" bolts worked but the 1/4x20x3/4 matched the thread just a bit better and tighter. I purchased these bolts for $.49/each (need 4 of them) and now I am sitting on the stool writing this review. The stool is very sturdy and would do well in a bar, game room or somewhere it would get abused. The swivel works well. It is too tall for a kitchen counter/breakfast nook stool. You will probably want a 24" one for that. I would hope that the company is aware that they have an issue with so many stools not having the cushion bolts. I took 2 stars off (1 for the missing bolts and having to go purchase them, 1 for the company continually shipping stools without the bolts).

This stool is very well made. It is comfortable and durable. Don't waste your money on assembly. It comes fully assembled except for the seat which screws on with a few screws. This is one of the best value for money purchases on Amazon.
