It’s basically felt tip and you have to turn the pen upside down to get the product to soak the tips which only provides about two strokes. I’ve already wasted most of this on my hand trying to get it to work. Heavy eye roll. Majorly disappointed. Color can vary based on the pressure applied. First time i applied it i pushed too hard and i hated to color. Second time i went really light pressure and it was so much better color and matched my hair better. I am headover heels in love with this product. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Remember to play around with it and test out a few different times before going out with it.
