Great product!!! – but good color matching skills needed for perfect fixes.
Great product! It really comes down to your skills mixing the exact right color – but if you can do that, your patch will be almost invisible. You need only very small drops of colors, and mix them directly into the paste (don't paint over it afterwards like it says in the instructions). But again, only your color-matching skills (or luck) will determine your success. When mixed into the paste, it will dry a tiny bit lighter than when wet.

Pointless if you can’t match the color to hide it -- UPDATE: Finally did but took a lot of patience!
UPDATED REVIEWI'm updating my review from a couple weeks ago because I finally worked and worked at it and got better results as shown in the latest images above. However, the tan still has too much yellow and the brown too much red, and they don't mix to produce the color shown in their mixing chart. At least not for me. But out of fairness I have updated from 2 to 4 stars. Withholding one star due to cost (paid over $30 for just one-time use I got since I had to use up some of the tints), as well as the extreme patience and time required to color match.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEWI’m not a total idiot but to get the right color beige/gray/taupe or whatever it was almost impossible. I used up all the white and the tan came out with a lot of yellow and the brown came out with a lot of red. The tan+white looked nothing like the color in the color chart which would have matched perfectly if it did. I was able to neutralize it with a lot of white and extra putty and even a touch of green but in the long run I couldn’t get that grayish/neutral/taupe look to match. Maybe I should’ve started with white and just a hair of black to make gray and then added it but just a touch of black would’ve really made a lot of gray unless you use a whole bottle of white tint or a lot of putty, and besides I’m out of white — and patience.Granted this is right after spending three hours trying to get the right color and right after it was applied and it still has to dry and I have to use the lacquer but at this point I think I would’ve been better off just filling these gouges with something like Kwikwood and then just getting a sample paint that matched using computer color matching to one of the tiles and I would’ve saved a lot of money too. I could’ve still painted a lacquer over it to seal it in.Now I may not have a deep gouge or pit in my tile like before but I could’ve filled that with anything. Now it’s so conspicuous that people are going to try and clean it up thinking it’s a spot or stain. My attached photos show it before and after. Not sure how much of an improvement it is.

Works well
This is my second purchase of this product. Last year I made a repair to a broken tile in our guest bathroom. That tile is white and had a hole punched into it by a contractor. After completing the work you cannot see the repair. The second repair last year (from the same kit) was to a tile something heavy was dropped on and the tile shattered. I was able to get major pieces glued in but other areas needed to be filled. That tile was beige and I found the color matching to be a challenge. In the end the match was fairly good. I can see the repair if I go looking for it but it blends in fairly well. This year a bought a kit to repair some shower tiles that were broken when the shower was built decades ago. The breaks were fairly clean and you can’t see the repair even if you look for it.The biggest hurdle for me was color matching when there is a large surface exposure. Other than that the product use was straightforward.

I’ll pass
The yellow color appeared to have been busted when I go the package for yellow dye was all over the entire kit, and it looked like the top of the yellow dye container was loose but when I checked it it was properly sealed…almost looks like someone in the factory fixed the leaking container issue but still left the mess. After giving the kit a shot, one does need to experiment to get the color just right. However, after matching the color hue to my countertop I was not able to match the sheen as it was either gloss or no glass. Note, the repair looked nearly invisible when I tried to take a picture on my phone but sticks out like a sore thumb when looking at it with my actual eyes.

A waste of time!!
This product does not live up to its claims. The filler is not very strong, and it is a real chore to try to mix the primary colors in the anything that resembles colors you would find in a normal kitchen or bathroom. I ultimately resorted to using all purpose Bondo, and acrylic paints to try to match the color. Don't waste your time with this product!

You'll need some patience, but it's a lot less work than new tile
Works as advertised! We had some nicks and cracks in the floor tile in the condo we're preparing to sell. The tile is one color, very light grey. Because it's uniform, and light colored, that made it harder, but the core of the tile was very dark, so even the small chips showed before repair. This product did the trick. It does take some patience. If you have tile that is multicolored, it would probably be much easier. In the first batch, I put a large drop of black dye in the mix, and it was too dark, and no amount of white dye was going to bring it back, so I threw it out. For the second batch, I put a drop of black onto another surface, and then just wiped a little of it onto the mixing tool. I got it almost perfect. However, after it dried, and I put the lacquer on it, it wasn't a good match. Third time was a charm, the chips I repaired with that batch could not be found. The larger crack repairs were visible, but only upon careful inspection. So if I had to do it over with more time on my hands, I would have probably slightly dyed the 3rd batch to make it a perfect match, but no one will notice it even now. I will definitely use this product again in the future, and I will definitely try to install floor tile that isn't one light color but has a marbled effect or something, as that would be much easier to repair. Thanks for offering a $21 product that saved me having to spend $4,000 on new floors for a rental condo we're selling.
