I'm extremely disappointed that these are listed as being compatible with the Sennheiser HD598's out of the box, when that is absolutely false.Firstly, they do not come with the plastic ring needed to clip the pads to the headphones. Which means that you either need to rip it out of your old ear pads, or you need to buy a 3rd party adapter if you don't have your old pads anymore (which adds a considerable extra expense.)Secondly, even when you manage to mount them to the plastic rings, there is too much leather that hangs over the sides of the ring and blocks the mounting clips. Which means that you then need to carefully trim off the excess leather, without cutting off too much and ruining the seal, just so that you can then clip the ring in place.All in all, it's extremely misleading to list these as being directly compatible with the HD598's and completely ruined my impressions of the product.

the materials used are of poor quality and the way the product was assembled is not worth the money

These worked fine for a month, they were actually amazing, very comfortable, however then they started leaving a weird black residue, so kinda a big yikes moment.
