Awhi Single Harvest Raw Mānuka Honey | Certified UMF15+ (MGO514+) (8.8ox/250g)│Raw Honey from New Zealand

I was very happy with the quality of this raw Manuka honey. I hesitated to purchase this one because I read reviews which stated there was an issue in the past with the glass container being damaged in transit. My honey arrived well cradled in a couple layers of cardboard, in perfect shape. I am grateful to the company for offering their honey in glass, as I, and many others I know would not buy it in plastic. I know it would be easier for them to use plastic because it ships over the Pacific to the US where I am. But using glass attests to their integrity in providing a clean product, without plastic leaching in. Taste is delicious, and it has a nice, non-granular consistency. I understand there are no health claims made, but I have used this topically for skin conditions, and it seems to actually be helpful, somewhat to my surprise. In summary, I was very pleased and would buy this again.

This is the best Manuka Honey I have found, plus it comes in a glass jar -- a rarity nowadays. I have purchased Awhi's 15+ and 18+ and they are both of excellent quality and taste. It is also at a price that is even lower that other brands that come in plastic containers. If you go to the Awhi website you will see that this honey is produced as an integral part of living in harmony with the land according to Maori indigenous values. As far as the complaints about broken or leaking containers, I have purchased about 2 dozen jars so far, and all were in good condition except one. (And this is with Amazon's notoriously poor packaging of placing several glass jars in a big box with zero padding!) Amazon issued a refund immediately, no questions asked, so there really is no risk in that regard. The glass jars come in a beautiful cylindrical cardboard container which helps with protecting the glass jars as well as makes them suitable for a lovely gift. Manuka honey has potent healing properties and is good for soothing the throat, acid reflux, G.I. upset, wound healing, burns and more. Honey found in Egyptian tombs hundreds or thousands of years old, has been found to be unspoiled, such is the amazing nature of honey if stored properly. One more reason to purchase in glass jars rather than plastic.

Tastes and looks good , but packaging was not good , it arrived out of the box .

I am a big fan of AWHI honey. This is my 2nd jar of the 15+ UMF. Flavor is magnificent! It’s creamy and elegant. There’s a complexity to the flavor. Velvety, smooth, delicate, buttery slightly caramel like. Of course it tastes like HONEY but it does not have the pungent distinct kick that many Manuka honeys have that’s almost abrupt in the tongue and palate.Texture is thick but not crystallized. In the jar it looks solid but comes on to a spoon with ease. Definitely different then the 5 or more other UMF manuka brands I’ve tried and not in any way a deterrent.It’s DELICIOUSWhile I was not sick or specifically warding off a cold or flu when I’ve taken it I did go through a wisdom tooth extraction and as per my dentist I healed very quickly.I’m using manuka UMF 15+ (I also have 20+ and 10+ from other companies) to sustain health and rarely fall ill.Once again, I am VRRY delighted and impressed with AWHI 15+ UMF manuka honey. All UMF manuka is pricey but it’s worth having on hand always to maintain a healthy system and help ward off the “nasty stuff “I enjoy mine right off the spoon. (Use a clean one!)ALL fingers and toes UP for AWHI 15+ UMF certified manuka honey I’m guessing the 10+ is just as delightful. Arrived intact and quickly. Packaging is awesome! Best tasting honey I've tried. Tried multiple Manuka honies and this one is by far the tastiest. This day and age it is critical to do everything possible to boost your immune system. We've been eating Manuka honey for over 4 years now. Haven't been sick once. Do the research and you'll understand.

The tamper proof seal on the box has been opened. This isn’t safe to consume. Not sure what’s inside is even Manuka honey. I saw 1 other review like this but I thought it was a one time fluke possibly, so I overlooked it. I shouldn’t have, cause the same happened to me now. I guess the sellers are doing this systematically.

2nd Update! I just received my second jar of honey and I could not be happier with this company. Although I’ve had some shipping issues (not the company’s fault) the Awhi Team has been nothing but wonderful and helpful every step of the way. Great company to do business with! For that reason I’ll keep coming back for more!Update! I did get in contact with the company thru Facebook and they were extremely nice and very helpful! Gave me a refund for the honey no problem. I will definitely buy from this company in the future.I just received this and both the anti tamper seals are broken with honey leaking from where it was opened. I would like a refund or replacement but I can not figure out how to get one. I would like the company to address this matter and I will update my review after they get in touch with me.
