I have a small collection of Talavera pottery and our Abyssinian loved to rock these pieces (hanging plates on drywall) or tip them over (items on granite or wooden surface) to enjoy the sound they made in the darkness. Of course it would get us up to ensure nothing breaks. He created his own routine.Anyway applying small rolled balls to bottom surfaces and pressing in place provided enough resistance that he has given up his new tactics. And we sleep better.While the putty hold secure for this, it’s not difficult to twist the item a bit and remove it, leaving no damage to surfaces. There are types of putty that are ok for wood surfaces so ensure you check before you buy.

Was concerned that a pot of chili would slide around inside the refrigerator of our motor home while we traveled. I put three small dobs of the quake hold on the bottom of the pot and put it in the fridge. When we arrived and I opened the door the chili pot was where it belonged - I did get bombarded by three bottles of water though!

Doesn’t dry out! Pliable and holds things to the shelf really well. Items can easily be removed with a little twist. Doesn’t leave residue. It’s sorcery!

I use this stuff on everything. Great for holding pictures straight and small stuff on shelves. Plus nothing moves when things start shaking.
