No, they will not. Wii games, however, can be played on the Wii U

Is this PAL version for Europe?

Yes. The PAL version will not work in the USA. It is mostly used in europe. If your TV has or had ever used a SCART input jack in the past thats a sure way of telling you have PAL system.

I don't trust what the description. What are the dimensions of the box? How does it compare to the size of the collector's edition of The Last Story?

The Collector's Edition of The Last Story? I unfortunately don't have and am not selling a copy of that, but I can tell you the dimensions of Super Mario All-Stars: Limited Edition. It's about 7.75 inches tall, 5.5 in. across, and a little over 1.5 in. thick. Basically, the game's box is the height and width of a standard Wii case, but is twice as thick since it houses two cases inside (one for the game and another for the soundtrack).

Is this still sctive and is the game all new ?

The game I am selling is not all new. It is complete and cases and discs are in excellent condition. The outer box does have some shelf wear on the bottom edge.
