Finally found a kit for me!!!
I never write reviews but I am so happy with this Beetles kit. I recently have been exploring how to do my nails at home. This kit is the 3rd of my new nail hobby. 1st was dip on my natural nail. They looked nice but too much filing required. 2nd was Gelly tips which were $100. They were way too thick since they were more curved. 3rd was this Beetles kit which came with curved and flat dual forms. The flat dual form is perfect! They look so smooth and natural. I only had to do a little filing and buff. It was also much easier to apply them straight. I want to note make sure you turn your nail over and shape underneath where your top forms. I kept forgetting to do this so had to use my e-file underneath to clean my mess. Being the first time using this though i know I’ll get better. I cannot wait to order new colors and continue learning. I’m sticking with poly gel from now on. This kit does not include the slip solution. Luckily I was able to find 70% alcohol at my local drug store. The top coat that cake with this kit is really nice too. I highly recommend this product. 3rd time was a charm for me. I cannot wait to do them again in a couple of weeks.

Worth the money! Watch YouTube videos first!
I love the Beetles brand! I was very excited to receive this purchase! I will say this: If you’re a beginner with poly gel, definitely do some research and watch a few YouTube videos before you dive right in! The first time I tried, I only watched 2 videos and was like, “Yea..I got this”! NOT! I had nails popping off within 5 minutes of finishing and it took me like half a day! 😭😭😭 The second time I watched about 5-6 videos for important tips for the best application and longevity. This worked wonders for me! My first set lasted nearly a month if not a month exactly and all I did was cut them down for a shorter look and refilled. I had my nails on for close to 2 months with the fill. I don’t recommend doing that though for the health of your natural nails. Some of the poly gel started to lift after a while and caused damage to my natural nails. Nothing against the product though which is why I rated it 5 stars. Just remove them after a month MAX and start fresh. Overall I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to save some money and learn how to do their own nails from home! So worth it!

Nice set, but very hard to remove. Not soak off.
This is a great set to start off with if you want to try poly gel nails. Quality tool and nail forms as well. They give you good instructions, BUT They don’t tell you how to remove them though. I took away one star because this is not a soak off poly gel. You need to grind it down all the way. This took 2 hours for me. I assumed they would be soak off type, but they are not. They recommend a slip solution of 70% rubbing alcohol, not included. You will also need a UV light to cure the poly gel. A nail grinder is a must.I love adding holographic glitter into the clear tip to make “crystal nails”. Almost looks like I have Opals on my fingers. Fun to do, and the fumes are minimal and only from the top coat and base coat. The Poly Gel has no odor. A good fun hobby for time stuck at home. Plan on it taking at least 2 to 3 hours to learn and do all your nails.Note: to remove, you must grind it down. I had no luck soaking it off with nail polish remover, or acetone or steam-off machine. Mine stayed nice for 3 weeks, then I wanted a change, which ended up being as hard as acrylic nails to remove.NOTE: The photo attached is using the base coat, then darker pink over the nail and then the clear for the tip. Glitter and foil over that, then another thin layer of clear over the glitter. Filed smooth, then top coat. Cure with UV light in between very step. Takes at least few hours for a non pro.

I am loving this product
I love this product so far. It was so easy to apply. I used alcohol for slip solution which made it so easy to spread. I did nail extensions using tips, I am not a professional nail tech and have used both acrylic and hard gels over the years. I found this to be easy to use in comparison to other products I have used in the past. I have only had them on for two days but they seem to be very sturdy and have done many tasks and they show no signs of lifting at this point. I think this is most similar to a hard gels as far as Application and wear. They are very light weight and I feel they would be suitable for both beginner and more experienced users alike. I did not use a great deal of product so I feel it will go further than I expected initially. Over all I am very pleased and would recommend this to any one wanting to try Polly gels. My first impressions , being new to Polly gels, have been positive in every aspect. I wasn't sure how to rate for beginers, not being new to nail extensions myself, but feel it would be much easier than hard gels and acrylic.

Decent value , company needs to work on packaging !
OK so first off when I receive my package a couple of the bottles were seeping out product. But I still went a long and tried the poly gel out. They’re honestly not that bad actually quite good quality it was just very upsetting that I lost a lot of the product during the shipping process. Hopefully the company Handles packaging and shipping better next time. As far as the quality it’s pretty strong probably 85% easy to use. It is a decent price and sets last fairly long ! As far as the kit as a whole the emery board could’ve been better ( I don’t believe it was 100/handy 180 grit) . Also the base and the topcoat didn’t last that long( I literally got out of it maybe three sets) the two forms were OK ,some of them are really flat which is init good!!! It doesn’t allow you to build a good Apex which can’t lead to breaking of your nails and stress on the nail bed . I got around that by just using a false now as my base and applying the poly gel like an acrylic. Under the assumption that the packaging and shipping would be better I would recommend this to a beginner. Also I found this poly gel is best used with pure acetone or 99% alcohol. I say this because the poly gel can be a bit runny at times.
