I gave this a 5 star rating because the 2nd loom I bought from them is perfect and they would have replaced it if I wanted to. I bought 2 of these and sent one back. The first box looked like it had been opened, used and was missing items and the the small hook was broken. Plus the loom itself was wobbly. The second one came the day after and is perfect. It had all the components except the sand paper and the small hook needed to be glued in, but a great improvement over the first. Pros- 1.The price point is perfect for learning without breaking the bank to see if you even like to weave. 2.Easy to learn 3.It is small enough for travel. 4. It has 3 commonly used heddles. 5. It is already assembled, which is a delight. You just have to attach the warping sticks. 6. It holds tension great. It is super easy to warp. 7. It has a nice user's guide 8. Is really study and built well and seems durable. Cons- 1. no stand. I wish it had a stand. I love this little loom.

This loom arrived almost completely assembled, and the first instruction in the booklet is how to tie on the apron rods, which is all the assembly that is required. It is a good how to get started weaving instruction booklet. There was no packaging to speak of it was just all loose in the box. Happily nothing seemed at all damaged just a couple of the tiniest nicks. The content of the kit is amazing for the price. The ratchets and pawls on mine were installed on the left side, which is not how they are pictured and also not usual for rigid heddle looms in general. Even with the sub par packaging and the mis-installed ratchets and pawls I am going with 5 stars, unless something goes terribly wrong, which I can't forsee happening. It is just too good a bargain and too nicely made for what it is to give it less. Yes, mine also is a trifle off level but that is something I have experienced with much more expensive looms. Wood moves. I am not too fussed. Happy I decided to throw the dice for this one, one of the best deals I have come across lately for sure.

This loom is on the smaller size and just right! Made very well and you have everything you need to weave minus the yarn which I have plenty! Thanks and happy weaving!

I really thought about this purchase, comparing different looms and reviews.I was looking for a good starter loom to try out weaving, but didn't want to invest a few hundred in a ridged heddle loom. I'm very happy with this purchase. So far it's working well. The wood is smooth and nicely finished. Some complain about the directions, I'm guessing they redid the instructions, because the booklet was clear and well done. Very easy to assemble. My only complaint the reason for losing one star is the weaving beater comb is completely useless, if you look at the pic, the solid bits on the ends make is so it doesn't reach the weft to beat it down. It's also curved, which makes sense for a persons head but NOT for weaving. They just shouldn't include it rather than including a product that isn't correct for this purpose. I'll go buy one that will actually work. But a fair price for what it is.

Beautiful and larger than I expected. All pieces where there, instructions were in English. It was quick to assemble. This is durable, I dont' think it would break easily. It has a light colored varnish on it and is very smooth. It came in it's own bag which I didn't expect, so I can eventually store it. For me this is worth the price.

This was such a great purchase. I took a weaving class and wanted to do something that could also use up some scrap yarn from previous projects. There are so many great tutorials on youtube! The This was easy to assemble and stores easily, I thing this would be a great option to take on the go. I love the size, the project isn’t too big or too small. A great medium. The shipping box arrived a little beat up and the label was placed directly on the packaging box, but nothing was damaged.

I've ordered several similar looms (different companies) for myself and friends. They are usually not finished with varnish or whatever. This one was. It really makes a big difference in the look, feel, and function of the loom. I will buy exclusively from this person if/when I buy another. This is the best I've found so far. There are lots of "knock offs," so be vigilant when you buy. This one is: WILLOWDALE 25.2"H x 19.3"W Weaving Loom. Perfect size for placemats. You can buy larger and smaller, which I own also; that's why I have an opinion about these products.

Was so excited to began using this loom but unfortunately it came with parts missing! It was so disappointing to have received something I was excited to assemble and use and now can’t use because I was sent missing parts.

Ho acquistato questo telaio per fare un regalo a mia nipote. Già al momento di assemblarlo mi sono reso conto che la costruzione è piuttosto approssimativa. I due piedi sono di lunghezza diversa, per poco, ma quanto basta perché l'appoggio non sia corretto. Il telaio, poggiato sul tavolo, traballa. Ma il problema è arrivato dopo il primo uso: i due pioli in legno che tengono le gambe si sono staccati, perché incollati in modo approssimativo, vedere le foto. Non chiedo il reso perché sono in grado di ripararlo e di rimediare ai problemi riscontrati, ma si tratta di un prodotto che non mi ha soddisfatto.

Ultimately Happy, this is a great product so far... But: Some things you should know; There is a support strut/beam near the top beam of the loom for structural support. If installed correctly it will press on the warp of your project slightly reducing the size of your shed. I recommend turning it over, so that it portrudes behind the loom, and does not get in your way 🙂 The feet/legs of the loom are positioned with a bit of twine that comes with the kit. Not only does this get little fibers everywhere (including your project) but any overhang twine gets in the way. If you trim this, you can no longer set it to a different position. I recommend getting a few cheap slats of wood at different lengths, drilling holes in the end and using those to lock the legs in place. Again, Ultimately a good product, I feel you will be happy with. Just wanted to share my two criticisms.
