DVM Chlorhexiderm 4 Shampoo (12 oz)

My little dachshund is fighting some sort of skin condition, so my vet suggested a weekly shampoo with a product containing hydrocortisone. When I mentioned this to him, he seemed excited that it also had chlorhexidem in it and suggested we try it. My dog seems to really enjoy his baths with this shampoo. He stands there and grunts contentedly while I lather him up, and it really seems to make his skin feel better. I have noticed that his skin lesions are slowly disappearing, so something must be working.I like that this shampoo is not medicinal smelling, doesn't seem to dry my dog's coat, and lathers and rinses well. I would certainly recommend this product.

This is the same product my vet sells for 60% more (sorry, but $12 more is a lot). My persian has delicate skin and has a skin condition that comes and goes. With weekly bathing with DVM Chlorhexiderm shampoo, I can keep her skin relatively healthy and beautiful. It smells good too.

This is a great dog shampoo. My dog has allergies and had small spots of hair falling out and we have tried many shampoos that didn't work. Our vet said to try this and we did and it works great. This is our sixth bottle. The dogs hair grew back and no more scratching.

With using this our dog Nutrisca food, his skin allergies and dermitis is gone!!!! Finally something that actually works! We have tried everything! It smells pretty medicated though.

This shampoo works wonders. If you have a dog that suffers from skin allergies and skin infections then I highly recommend this shampoo. It clears up the skin and stops the constant itching.

My Yorkie had dark spots and red skin on his belly, Vet said it was a type of allergy from bacteria. cleared it right up. its not harsh on his skin either.

This product works amazingly well. Don't expect miracles after the first use but this worked very well on my pet by the third use.
