How to Present and Safeguard Exhibits
Thanks Adrian ! This is a succinct compendium of tasks required in curating exhibits for public view. I have drawn out data on organizing, shipping, insuring, lighting and promotion of the work- for starters. It's a great reference, well highlighted and researched.

Very Helpful!
This book is very detailed in many aspects, and it has been very helpful for I began this journey with very little knowledge of what a curator was responsible for - other than arranging artwork for an exhibition.

Useful but overpriced
Considering the length of the content I think the price should be lower.

A much needed and long awaited, highly practical book
This is a great book that deals with the nuts and bolts of curating. It's succinct, in plain English, and has a clear layout. And this handbook is certainly long awaited -- the last authoritative 'how-to' book about curating that I'm aware of was published in 1975! It's also much needed, as so many of the recent books about curating (particularly contemporary art curating) are frustratingly tangential and long-winded, and sometimes just bewilderingly art-world-gossipy. I will be recommending this book to the students I teach.

This handbook is very useful and practical to me
This handbook is very useful and practical to me. It gave me a general view of what curator is and what kind of responsibilities and considerations should have. It also includes updated information and quotations from successful curators/directors all over the world. Highly recommended to the entry-level curators and students whose major are related to curating.

The Curator's Handbook
This a very helpful volume. It offers a wide perspective on the art business and is well and clearly written. It can't make you an art expert, of course. You'll need a lifetime's study to achieve that.
